Dea GVF: you cats are a breath of fresh air. I am a 57 year old drummer with some fundamental skills on guitar and I sing a bit, but when I was your age, I didn't have as much talent as your band has. Good luck, enjoy the journey and definitely stay away from the drugs, because there's nothing else that can ruin a band quicker than drugs. Also, practice safe sex if you want to sleep with more than one person, and if you can find a partner that will love only you and vice versa then that could be ideal. Moreover, don't sign any contracts unless it is read by a family member, for example you father, or by an attorney that you can trust Finally, I dig you current songs, and I can't wait for the release of Greta Van Fleet's official debut album, which I hope is also released on vinyl.

Omg I've become a fan in the past couple months and I don't know any fan that I could freak out about this stuff with so I'll have to do it here in the comments lol I've been trying to find a video in which Jake is singing alone since I first watched that tik tok trend live performance video of You're The One, I had been so focused on their individual parts (in this case, Jake being the guitarist) and hadn't realized that the twins would probably have the same singing skills, that was until I watched an interview with their mom, she said Jake had the same range as Josh and a great singing voice, and that just made me more curious... now I've finally found a video that I can hear him clearly!! Just two seconds and I'm like geez!! Oh gosh his voice is so beautiful!! & I wish we had more to listen to (I replayed that part a lot)!!! I know he's not the vocalist of the band and that the four of them do the backing vocals for the tracks so technically we've heard him singing before, but it would be so good if he shared the lead vocals with Josh in a song in the future - or if he sang an entire song alone!! I really need this lol

When GVF puts out an album that exceeds Led Zeppelin I, ll, III, IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti, Presense, or In Thru The Outdoor then maybe. Key word is *maybe.* Until that happens GVF has a long road ahead of them and a gigantic hill to climb. As far as talent and musicianship LZ destroys GFV. GVF has already been around for 6 years and couldn't even release a full album. Zep released 2 albums in their first 2 years with arguably the greatest debut rock album ever. The GVF hype will be over in 1-2 years.

I agree with you as well, but they haven't really been around for six years. They started playing together six years ago, but they were like 13-15 years old and mostly played covers. Haven't even released an official album yet.
