This kid has more command of a stage and his voice than he has a right too. Fantastic - not band - GROUP too. Rock needed a kick up the arse, and here it is. Zep, Queen, Rush; your legacy is in good hands.

It would be great to see GVF play a Super Bowl halftime show. Way better then the processed stuff they always present at halftime.

Can’t remember the last time a band blew me away like this, but it’s been a long, long time. They were sent here to save rock ‘n’ roll and they’re doing it.

This pains me to say as an older person who has always loved LZ and Robert Plant as my all time favorite, while taking into account new tech etc., and this again is painful - these guys are better and more talented even compared to before Plant blew his chords and same thoughts on guitar. Heaven forgive me and I AM sorry but - that kid can do anything Plant did and more - WOW

These kids today with their loud drums, guitars and raw music...... I miss the old days of autotune, syhnths, backing tracks and choreographies.

I can see why Robert Plant gave this band his nod of approval. They are a breath of fresh air for those missing some real rock and roll.

Blew me away I ain't lying!! He definitely sounds like Zeppelin. His voice shockingly enough seems so finely & uniquely tuned for his age. 🤯

Why can't people just appreciate the fact that Greta Van Fleet is the closest thing to rock and roll we have in this generation? I mean do you even see a freaking drum solo anywhere else? Criticizing modern music cause of its repetitive melody and chord progression and when bands come up to bring back the music of the 70's-80's you say they are a rip off? Learn to appreciate

I am a 60 year old lady who just discovered this band, they make my soul rejoyce, there is hope for this world and the legacy of rock will live on.

I see these guys at a really small show when they were i believe 18-19 years old roughly. Right of out highschool. I was aboit to leave the venue for the night and heard them and i stayed and i knew from there they were goong places.

I'm 70 years old and have been a musician since 1965 and have been playing in rock bands since 1969. These young men remind me of a band and an album that came out in 1969. Thanks to these guys, arena rock is not dead.

black smoke rising is such a great song. I love the open endedness to it. You can interpret it many different ways, and it's such a great closer song. love this band. My dad would tell me stories about bands "back in the day" as he played music professionally for many years, well over half of his life. Greta Van Fleet makes me feel like I get to experience what my dad did back then, and it brings me so much joy.

I love how Jake seems like he's playing a solo whole time. He is so powerful on that guitar. Love it!!!!!!!!!

This is my first ever RU-vid comment… I felt compelled to say something. I stumbled across this band for the first time two or three days ago and I’m honestly blown away. I’m not really into modern music so I rarely have much to get excited about unless I stumble on a hidden gem from 50 years ago. But this band has me so excited! Had their albums on repeat for days! Buzzing to hopefully see you if you tour England in the near future!

It is SO refreshing to hear a band that REALLY plays! Greta Van Fleet has restored my faith in the music industry. May our Dear Lord watch over them and keep them from the pitfalls of this devilish world that has taken so much talent, too soon, before them. 😇

Do you know how many years I have been waiting for another band to come along that has what these guys have? I have been a classic rock fan for 54 years. I have all of the usual favorites. I have stayed loyal to all of my favorite bands, and sometimes won't even think about allowing another band to enter into my mind. For a very long time I had specific criteria that any band had to meet. My number one restriction was that if your band didn't form by 1973, I don't want to listen to you. Greta Van Fleet has what I require to be in my mind, and meets all my criteria. I love that these young dudes have come along and broken into the music scene with every necessary tool to do the job. Talent... Chops... And appeal. I am a fan. Thank you Greta Van Fleet. You may take the torch of Rock'n'roll... And continue on your journey... And allways be true to yourselves... His voice is a crossbreed of Zepellin and AcDc with a sprinkle of Adele, and a touch of Rush. Overall...they’re good.👍🏼

I just saw them live for the first time the other night and it was the best concert I've ever been to and that's saying a lot considering I saw Pearl Jam perform their entire Ten album back in 2016.

I don't know. Something about these guys that's preventing them to be noticed on the mainstream of the music world. You don' t hear much about them at all after being out and playing as many gigs as they had. It's like they only have these pockets of fans only that know about them from the internet and a bunch showing up at their gigs that's it. They are very good at what they do but something is missing. It may be the fact that a lot of people nowadays are just into more the modern style music and not as interested to see or hear this band at all? It all comes down to the percentage who are stuck in their one way music prefreferance that's on the popular train right now. The cookie cutter voices and drum patterns that is out right now making a killing. Most of it doesn't consist of much talent to produce at all. Pretty much being a disgrace and a slap in the face of music to be called a true art anymore with so wanna be singers and their auto tune. It is sad and unfortunate that, that is what is blown out popular now in the music industry. Sickening to say the least.

I'm a young hippie born in the 60's grew up with some of the best rock n roll ever & I'm blown away with this band. Rock lives on in these guys & they just bring it ~ the drum solo was outstanding & the guitarist could take the show solo. I had to do some head bangin & play the air guitar when he was rockin it! They have some amazing talent I was totally impressed! I'll be listening to more of their rock. Rock on!!
