It's a day after my random Zercher question and the madman decided to upload a whole ass 20 minute comprehensive breakdown of all things crooks of elbows. This channel is a true gem and I couldn't be more happy that I found it. If you need ideas for new content, Bugez promised a tutorial on the behind the back deadlifts, but never delivered. Either way, keep on killing it.
Thanks! Hope it helps! I'll have to get better at btb deadlifts myself before I can really put out a good tutorial. I haven't put that much time into them yet.
This is what we beepin need!!! I notice improved OHP strength from zerchers (only gone from rack, one-day from the floor 💯). BTW jean lifting = +10 strength and tenacity 😎💯🗡️
dude its so fricking funny watching you do zerchers in the parking lot behind the super 8 motel. great info too! you should mix it up and do your next vid behind a truck stop or something. this channel inspires me!
This is really a man's man exercise bro! The part where you talk about you can either hold it at top and lose air, or sit at the bottom and enjoy a nice hard pause squat to kick things off 😎 No where to hide I plan to do one lift a day later on this year, like you said, these are such a full body lift, obviously have to do these
I've fallen in love with Zercher lifts, partially cus of Rampage Jackson power bombing that dude that had him in an arm-lock, partially cus I think it enforces getting better with lower weights and my back/posterior-chain feels amazing after. Between Zercher deadlifts, heavy kettlebell swings, & learning how to brace my core I broke an old deadlift record without directly training it for a LONG time when it used to fuck my back up.
hey ive written this on one of your shorts but ill hopefully get a response here... is their a theory or rationale for using zerchers from the ground as a form of rehab for bad backs, ive done it once and my back feels so much better after year and a half of niggling joint-ish pain. (going from over 700lbs deadlift to not be able to get over 400lbs without pain is mentally very tough)
I have a question, if you could answer i would greatly appreciate. But first thank you for all this explanation on this. Its hard to find any proper explanation about the deadlift. So im finally stretched out enough to zercher it straight from the ground but its not clear whether i should try to straighten my back as soon as i can or should i "unroll" my back from the rounded up position (as like a rolled up carpet is being unrolled) as im standing up? Thank you Also those jeans thay did not tear is what im most interested in :D
Awesome video and explanation mate. Question: Any tips for the racking position for the zercher jefferson curl? This one doesn't work for me to clasp the hands together, as when I get halfway down my head needs to pass between my arms. I'm still getting into this movement but I imagine when I start to go heavier it'll feel insecure with the forearms independent and free in the bottom position.
Clasping your hands togeather isn't necessary. I would reccomend practice with a heavier zercher variation such as the full zercher cycle so that your jefferson curls feel light and comfortable.
Sir could you please help me increase my zercher as I have been practicing it from 20 days.. and I just hit 100kg pr. (Zercher deadlift) is it possible to connect with you on Instagram?
