Seems that everytime I praise, unless I’m battering teams I always concede seconds after. I use fire-up if after 15 mins I haven’t produced enough shots and ratings are average and works well but only the once. Apart from encourage when your drawing/losing, berate if your getting beat badly, praise if your winning all other talks seem to piss them right off. Also a nice tip, if you’ve hit encourage and then you score before the talk has had an effect, open tactics then hit cancel to remove the shout as god forbid we would encourage our players after they have scored and anger then haha

Thanks for this video last few fms I have struggled with team talks a few fms ago everything was sorted but it all changed and somethings seem to act differently in fm and this is seriously 1 area I have seen a big big change. Interesting that u say use no pressure as this is 1 thing I have always refused to use as I view this as the same as saying I don't care, do waht u want. Coach of mine as a teenager always said play with pride integrity and passion, under no circumstances let your passion drop. I always suddenly when I look at that option and ask what does it actually mean. Would fergie or wenger say that.
You can still play with pride and passion but less pressure, it's just saying these guys are the favourites and are top of the league so go out there with no fear. It works a lot of the time I use it. Wenger or Fergie probably wouldn't say it because they weren't ever underdogs.
