Mainely Hockey Cards here, and today, let’s go over the entire 2023-24 Upper Deck Extended Series Young Guns checklist! It's the best Extended Series we have ever seen, in my opinion!
I’ll be going over each Young Gun individually, as well as attaching a grade from F to A as my thoughts on their investment potential.
Per a common request, here are all 50 Young Guns and their grades:

Fantilli. Nemec. Cooley. Even those three alone make this extended series crop worth the gamble. Fantilli is going to be a superstar one day. Will probably have more value in the hobby over other Michigan guys like Werenski and Larkin.

Will be interesting to see extended going forward. It's 'good' that they have actual top prospects now in it after just complete crap last 2 years. I wonder if the 'cool' inserts will continue and it will become a diff product

Sadly thanks to price point of there’s boxes it’s a Connor Bedard or bust since You’re not even guaranteed to pulled any YGS U might pull them 1st round rookies do they have any value.

The likelihood of not pulling a YG or a few is quite low. It’s definitely not Bedard or bust though. Extended packs more than just YGs.

Given his first game was in late February, likely UD already had set the checklist. They formulate the tentative checklists a year in advance. But, my best guess is it was intentional to beef up 24/25 UDS1, alongside Cutter Gauthier etc.
