It's fucking crazy how when they think you assaulted him, they're ready to arrest you, but when it's confirmed that he assaulted y'all. You're just free to go, and nothing happens to the congressman... Edit: I was informed below that someone else commented that the cops asked them if they wanted to press charges and they declined.
Usually I try to read the comments before I post one to make sure someone hasn't already posted the same thing, but sometimes it's impossible to read them all. So when that happens and then I find out later, I'll just delete my redundant comment. Take this comment that I'm writing right now for instance. If you happened to reply to my comment instead of simply deleting your comment and making all this disappear, I would come back and delete my comment because I would then know it was a complete waste of time. The delete button is right next to the edit button.
This is sooo good. I’m a veterinarian in Florida and knew him as a fellow DVM who practiced in the same county. I’ll just say I was horrified when he was elected.
@@TheWaffleRadio Yep. He was/is a large animal vet. I don’t know if he’s kept up and renewed his license, but I haven’t seen or heard about him at any veterinary meetings. Also, he’s a “Good Christian.” 🙄

@@arcticcircle9178 (ianal) mostly irrelevant here - clearly assault and battery, but can be both a criminal and civil process officer sees clear evidence of intimidation, intent, and physical violence. the state can/should file criminal charges on that person. in fact, *only* the state can file criminal charges if ben et al didn't want to 'file charges' that's a separate thing entirely, bringing a civil suit to recover damages the officer should have acted in accordance with the law to address a willfully malicious person who committed violent acts. instead, he acted 'using his discretion' to sweep everything under the rug and just move everyone along. it's clearly in the interest of protecting a legislator from repercussions, either out of fear or of solidarity that's messed up any which way. our public officials should be the best of us, not above us

Just love this video! Ted Yoho literally lived in my neighborhood, a few doors down. So to me, it's especially funny. Yes, before he ran for Congress Ted was a local horse veterinarian. He ran as a Tea Party candidate in 2010, in the big wave of post-Obama Tea Party candidates. Imagine our surprise when someone with no prior qualifications, got elected thanks to gerry-rigged distracting! And we live in a Democratic county with two colleges! We were even more stunned when he got re-elected. It's so clever how you guys tricked him, Sacha Baron Cohen style, into admitting he lied before Congress. Thanks for putting this together! Ben in all seriousness you really need your own lawyers making sure you always know exactly where the line is so your confident you're on the safe side if it. When Cohen does his stuff he always knows where he stands legally and I'm just worried in case 'they' come after you cause it'l be much harder to be in that situation and be on the back foot, compared to already being confident where your 2 feet are placed.

A friend of mine is a Doctor in Jacksonville. He took a leadership position at the hospital and they made him and few other doctors meet Ted. He told me that guy was unhinged and just prattled on about the most crazy stuff
