Ireland is legit like this, few places are, we were stranded in donegal hiking on the hottest day in july last year , and the locals turned up over and over to help us out. never forget it
I've said before but I'll say it again.."of all your walking trips, I love your walking trips around Ireland". There is something magic about the way you do your videos around Ireland 😊 Nil ain tintain Mar a tintain fein 😊 (no place like home)
You are indeed a lucky man, you're fit & healthy enough to do what you're doing and the places you are encountering are real gems. It's a pleasure to see it through your eyes. 💚
Another great video, my Mother is from Connemara, Lettermullen to be exact! Lighting the candle is something very poignant especially with the turmoil in our country now! God bless our culture nd God save Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤
Hello you. I've always wanted to comment that it'd be great if you said what month it is doing these walks. It's kind of hard to tell from just your gear and clothing since..... well it's Ireland right? But I'd love to get in some more winter walks and it's helpful to know you did this one in November. Thanks!
I know Green Bee jams. Had it last summer when I was near Carraroe. The best raspberry jam I have ever had!!! I had 6 jars delivered to my mom and sisters in Dublin as a gift.
Hello you! 😉. Well I really enjoyed this one. The music is beautiful and compliments the scenery. It's very much like the west coast of Scotland where I live. Loved the wee bothies, so rustic. And was that rainbow not just beautiful! I know exactly what you mean about the tourist not seeing it as you do, they are not FEELING it! Thanks Derek for making me smile and cry. 👏💜👏
Derek, your last FB post, the one about the different between rural & urban people. I note Alex Khan appealing for money via Western Union in the comments. You might need to block him?
dear Derek..........HELLO YOU....Connemara is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland...............thank you for tfe video.............Blessings and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
Love your videos Derek, Ireland looks beautiful. Are you following any hiking trails or are you mostly following the roads? I want to hopefully do some hiking in Ireland at some point
For walking routes, do you use paper road maps, Google Maps or just wing it and go where your feet lead you? I'm asking because I've a thought to walk the Wild Atlantic Way & would prefer to stay off main roads as much as possible.
