A fabulous orator. Father Ron is incredibly entertaining. He manages to impress on us the powerful love of God through speaking the language of today. By describing Little Therese with Anne Frank, helps us understand the type of person Therese was. A speaker of great integrity , I will definitely be listening to more of his talks. Totally refreshing speaker!

An awesome person, who draws one to being the best one can be. I'm fascinated by her love for her father and sisters. Deep suffering at the loss of family 👪 who loved God, leaving her with an indelible love of God.

What are you centering on in the centering prayer? Jesse Lee Person promotes: "Silent Prayer" were he just focuses on being still, being in the presence because God is in the present. All thoughts and all passions (good and bad) are lies from the Evil one, so just observe them but do not identify with them, let them be. They were your false identities or they will become your false identities if you identify with them. Only God is with you in the present.

That's for expressing so perfectly all about this person which I cannot do myself, which as I still cannot like her being aware of her illness, is irritating.

If you admire St Teresa of Lisseaux so much, a Saint in the Catholic Church, why are you still not a practicing Catholic?

It's the other Catholics you meet nowadays that are the big turn off.

I'm considering if you don't have something nice to say don't say it. That being said is Cadence in his speech is a little bit obnoxious "Goooooooood"

1:39:00... your deepest part of your self is were evil committed and evil undergone meet (Paul Ricœur) ...It is called guilty pain... it is immediate... it does not go away unless it is radically dealt with... otherwise, your centering prayer will become a self-absorbed mind game.... plesent delusion... And it is God who came to help us to deal with our issue of the pain of guilt.. He already, right there on the spot, took care of our shame when He enclothed us.. and then He promised us to deal with our inner pain of guilt: weight of the monstrosity of our (i.e. mine) sin, evil I had done.... serious business...God came to deal with the Lake of Fire of Hell in us....

Canonizing the relatives of true saints is problematic. If you read her interactions with her father and how he was diagnosed with mental illness, there's something troubling there. Normally, great saints are not born into perfect families, usually quite the contrary. Why did she throw herself at the feet of the Pope begging to get into a convent when in a few years she would have qualified anyway? Why did she need to get out of that house?
