His Holiness the Dalai Lama engages in a conversation with Gaur Gopal Das, a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), by video link from his residence in Dharamsala, HP, India on July 14, 202
@@neonfiction1642 yes we all sentient beings have love and compassion but only the biological factor (conditional) not the unconditional which is to all the sentient beings.
Guru Gaur Gopal Das always amazing and humble, living the teachings of God himself Shri Krishna! Great Shri Dalai Lama ji incredible holy guru who has suffered so much yet always smiling. India is truly the land of god.
Why is my spiritual guru because he never misuse his capacity to instigate unrest in Tibet or elsewhere. Every time he tought about constraint and restrict own desire. Although I never met with him but always inspire me in material world.
Very insightful. Hope to see more conversations amongst all religious leaders. And may all 7 billion human beings become one under one umbrella of kindness.🙏
@@suethompson6497 Buddhist do believe in gods, but not in God. By "God" is meant an all-powerful, all-knowing creator deity. Buddhists deny this, but they do accept the existence of elevated beings referred to as "gods"
@@suethompson6497 Again wrong information, brother, Bhuddhist don't believe in creator, or independent Atman in Hindu or Independent individual Atman in Jainism. In order to collaborate, Bhuddhism doesn't have any problems at all because Bhuddhism love, compassion etc has nothing to do with religions, or teachings etc., But the question is can Hindu scholars make a education system without touching religions or religious beliefs? 🙄🙄🙄
@@lhawangla4031 Sorry, post was too old to remember what the discussion was about. You are right, real Sanatana Dharma is about reality which we call ParaBrahman and the Buddha called Nirvana. Religions have nothing and everything to do with it because they point the way towards reality no matter how you choose to achieve that by Worship, work, knowledge it’s all ok. Worldly education and cultural differences have nothing to do with it. Have a wonderful New year! 🌼
@@suethompson6497 May be too old, but, Surprise! 🍺, We both still alive beyond this second world cup ( Second Covid wave) 😆😆😆 Nothing special, Happy New year too, brother..👍👍
As for this humble discussion to go on and reach out to our turbulent mind full of toxic thoughts, i feel honoured to say that we need to get restored our lost glory of empowered civilization related to the profoundest spirituality and the holy spirit of social structure which once became the source of civilised nation building, if his holiness becomes our guiding principle for all the time to come. Feeling proud to be born in India.... A land of all Gods being worshipped with utter sanctity and spirituality 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Namo guru gopal das, Namo guru Avalokiteshvara. This shows the humbleness and wisdom of guru gopal das, that he wants to learn from HH THE DALAI LAMA. Hearing their conversation is a bliss. JAI HO 🙏🙏🙏
We need developping brotherhood and sisterhood , with wiseness , cause too many poor people on earth nowaday , as His Holiness told us about compassion and altruisme

Holiness emphasising the need for self analysis using one's brain and mind with compassion, with intelligence, with loving kindness. Also the importance of bringing religions together based on "the universal values of humanity"and scientific analysis of the brain and the mind.
Dali Lama jiii aap hamesha jivit hi ho pichle 1300shalo se aap bhart ke liye mahan shakshiyat ho . Me aap se milna chahta hu pr shayd ish janm me ye Mumkin nahi ,😪😪😥😥
I have said patience is a virtue since 1996. Patients force me to do everything for them perfect. I am whatever the dictating patients need me to be for them except a 1996 doctor. Patients use brute force and their God forbids self defense. I thank God I amended my own civil rights mental disability in 1995 as of 2017 I am a 1996 science medical doctor mental health, mental disability and religious freedom HIPAA
Jay Hinduism, Jay Buddhism, Jay Jainism, Jay Sikhism. All Victory to all Bharat Borsho born religions. Reject all the abrahamic barbaric divisive cults which is full of human hatred. 🕉🚩🙏🇮🇳🌏
Gandu, Because of such a hatered mentality towards others religion and community which is very harmful and against the very spirit of Hinduism. We must love each and everyone becus we hindu belive in next life who knows those who were born in other religions may be once our mother and father in some previous life... I hope you got it, brother.
What a great discussion!! One thing I’ve wondered is, I’m familiar with the Hindu view of Buddha, but I’m curious what is the Buddhist view of Krishna? Does anyone know?
Well Gautam Buddha in his Dashrath Jataka Said that he was Lord Ram in one of his previous lives how I don't know much whether Dashrath Jataka is Authentic text or not
Patients have created war for peace. I have said since 1996 that patience is a Virtue. Patients force me to do everything for them perfect. I am whatever the dictating patients need me to be for them except a 1996 doctor. Patients use brute force and their God forbids self defense. I thank God I amended my own civil rights mental disability in 1995 as of 2017 I am a 1996 science medical doctor mental health, mental disability and religious freedom HIPAA. I do not choose war and patients are choosing my battles.
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. " They are ignorant and know nothing." They walk in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
"not through prayer, not through faith, but through intellegence" 10:36, question, if you believe in evolution, is our star, the sun, not life itself? is it not true that life always existed and simply evolves....?
Tom Kast - to constitute life the sun would need to be sentient ie have a mind ....that seems unlikely to me ...you may disagree...maybe the sun is "overseen" by a samsaric worldly god that maybe possible ...overall though whether either of the above apply the "sun" is bound by samsara and comes into and out of existence with the universe...great question though ...Buddhism is tricky in that it refers to beginningless and endless lives/time....ps evolution is of course a Darwinian theory per-se
@@brianhart6554 great discussion. Please start by accepting (not that it is good or bad, but accept that it exists) all the things you said. And please add infinite complexity (a.k.a. in Buddhism, "the vastness of realitys expanse). So.... yes, the Sun is in your family tree, yes the sun can replicate, so in terms of our Englich language, and western science, it is very much alive and in our chain of life, evolution. Then yes it is compounded, yes it comes and goes, like all things. And yes its fundemential nature is emptiness, and yes it does not have a human mind. Also please accept that "human mine" is again English language rather than the thing itself. Look to science or buddhism to see exactly what that mind is, which is also compounded, yes, comes and goes, but its fundemental nature is stable, emptiness (interdependence, composite nature, etc...)
