William Burke he was fascinating! He said he lied a lot, but his “lies” are more interesting than anything that anyone has to say today.

This has been over forty minutes of the greatest form of entertainment every seen or heard on any medium!!! If it were not for the men and women of the Gilded, Golden and Glamourous years of Hollywood, those of us alive today would have nothing through which we could laugh, cry or sing!!! Thank you George Burns!!! Thank you Gracie Allen!!! God Bless You!!!

"Marriage is not what you do in bed.. It's what you do when you get out of bed." Absolutely brilliant.

Gods2ndFavoriteBassPlyr I heard this at 13 years old and I NEVER forgot it, in any relationship. He was a wise man.

He truly is a legend and he was so wise and intelligent. So how can we explain and elaborate on that quote? "Marriage is not what you do in bed, it's what you do when you get out of bed"

@@johanbrand8601 I think he means that sex complements a Relationship, it can’t be the main focus. Sex only goes so far, but any relationship must be based on the important things in life, not just physical action.

I find as I am coming to middle age my tastes have changed. I have completely quit watching news, and facebook. I am constantly looking for gems like this on youtube, old commercials from 70's and 80's when I was a kid, old tv hows and movies. I am watching Tcm to watch classics I never took the time to see. I even watch Johnny Carson reruns every night on antenna Tv since I refuse to watch any current talk shows since Oprah and Letterman went off the air. I yearn to be in a different time I caught the tail end of than whats become today and I find that by doing this, I am much happier than I used to be.

Wonderful...just wonderful! This guy was a treasure and I really miss him. He never failed to bring a smile. This country used to really have talent. Now sadly gone from our landscape. Thanks so much for sharing this.

I recorded it shortly after George’s death in 1996, but I’m sure it aired before this since it was recorded in 1989.
