One more comment. What I find fascinating and valuable in Tony Blair’s way of thinking is that you give him a “mess” and he will immediately sort it into groups, analyze each group in isolation and together, and he will come up with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS used in statistics) type of solution. He is a structured, systematic and logical thinker, at least that's how I see it.

Tony Blair is very intelligent and he offered some ideas to resolving the conflict in the near-east (holy land of the bible, fertile crescent, mesopotamian civilization of antiquity) or the former British colonies and territories of the Middle-East. Mr. Blair also mention something about the state of affairs in the UK with Brexit, rise of far-right within the Tory Party, immigration issue and lastly the Russian-Ukranian War. A lot of complex issues and basically impossible for any single human being to comprehend and solve one single hour. When it comes to the Middle-East we hear Mr. Blair use words like extremism or ISIS. These words are ambiguous and poorly define, so it is impossible for anyone to address these issues. Can any of us living in the UK or US truly understand what is happening in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, ... Those people certainly do not understand the people living in developed countries like the US, UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, ... What is the truth, what are gross exaggerations, and what are outright lies. Certainly the Western European countries and the US support Israel existence in the holy land. Without NATO support the state of Israel would not exist. But why do NATO nations support the existence of Israel. Is it for the good of the Jewish people to return to the holy land? I do not know. Do the industrialized countries of the world want to control the fossil fuel resources in the Middle East, so supporting Israel gives the industrialized countries control over Middle-Eastern states. Israel becomes the military base from which the industrialized countries can launch strikes against Middle-Eastern States who become unruly or demand outrageous prices for their oil. I do not know. But the US and the UK certainly have industrialized economies that need fossil fuel and many petroleum companies are owned by English and American conglomerates. Is the confrontation really between modern, industrialized nations and medieval, religious fiefdoms fighting over limited resources? I do not know. There are so many exaggerations or lies it is very difficult to tell what is the truth. The truly developed, fully-industrialized countries of the world have made lives better for themselves and the under-developed countries through trade. There is no doubt about that. The industrialized countries do need fair market access to fossil fuel to continue to provide the modern conveniences that people all over the world enjoy. If the people in the Middle East agree to provide access to their fossil fuel in exchange for a fair market compensation maybe the industrialized powers would not interfere with their domestic affairs. Can medieval, religious fiefdoms exists without self-destructing into conflict? Can industrialized, modern countries send their army, navy, and air force into medieval, religious society and successfully impose peace & prosperity? In Iraq Tony Blair and George Bush have already shown that is not possible. You cannot create a modern, democratic society based on the rule of law at the end of gun. What is a democratic republican society? What is the rule of law? What is free-market, capitalism and individual property rights? Do the people of a medieval, monotheistic, intolerant society want to change? Can you force them to change at the end of a gun?

Tony Blair...had the power and mandate to effect real and profound change in this country! His legacy..obscene growth in the gap between rich and poor, cronyism, corruption, mass uncontrolled immigration, worsened debt to gdp ratio, a generation of students saddled with crippling debts, ruined the reputation of this country across the world through appalling foreign policy decisions, still he is now making a fortune, alls well that ends well aye Tony!! Thanks Mr Blair, what a guy!!!
