A couple FJ Cruisers with 35’s and 37’s😯

Two different flavor ls of FJ Cruisers. One on a set of 35’s and the other on 37’s. Monster! Love seeing our Westcott Designs rock sliders and roof rack on this beast. Our rear tire relocation is a must on these setups. It will be great to share the wrapped one with you when it is all finished up.

I love my FJ but the small gas tank. Can't imagine how often having 37's would require a trip to the gas station.

with 37 in the fj you spend less gas remember for every rev the distance is longer

With portal axles you can put 40’s and not sweat about going to the car shop everytime you come from the track. Plus is just 13,000$ the whole deal. I bet it costs more with your mods. And you get 450mm ground clearance and still can do 110mph Highway

I may have missed this but was the FJ with 35s re-geared and if so, to what gear upgrade? I have a 2012 FJ TTSE with a 2.5” lift on 33s using Bilstein 6112s in the front and Bilstein 5160s in the rear. Looking to go with 35s but all the info I have is that you have to re-gear if you go with 35s.

Just ordered the rack for the FJ. What is the best mounting option for the roof top tent? I want to have a very similar set up, so what did you guys use with the roofnest?

you can fit 35's with the 3-inch lift .. but you will not be able to do full turn unless you put spacers or wheels with -25 off-set ..

It has a bunch of mix match parts. We had it in to replace all the broken parts or should I worn out parts in the suspension. It wouldn’t align correctly and would not drive straight and had been to 2 other off-road shops.

Most of the guys who have experimented with 37s on an FJ were running 4.88 gears.

We do not do body lifts or bracket lifts at our shop because of liability and safety. So if a vehicle comes in with one we just to make sure it is et up the best and strongest it can be. We some times add gussets and reinforcements were needed👍

37 is way too heavy of a tire for the rear hatch eventually gonna rip the metal around the hinges

It’s too heavy. 37” (I have KO2) will crack rear door. I use ultrarigd hitch tire carrier

I just bought the spare tire relocation kit from there website and they did not specify that it would not fit with the spare tire bracket. Thanks for specific detailed that I was not informed of. Bad purchase, thanks for nothing. Next time put on details that it will not fit or fit.
