I am a deacon in the Catholic Church, and when you mentioned someone being branded, I remembered what happens during the beginning of the baptism of a child. I "brand" the child with the sign of the cross on their forehead, claiming them for Jesus. Loved the poem at the end, and at our end, may all of us hear those sweet words "He/She is one of mine." @@bdubb5390 while I disagree with the catholic faith for many reason and don't believe you can baptize a baby, it does represent the parents giving that child over to Christ and their vow to do their best to raise that child they have entrusted to Christ. So while you may disagree, do so in reverence to those parents and the good faith of those parents. Coming at this the way you did does not leave a good message for those on the outside looking in. It says look, they no better than me, why should I try and do better? Christ teaches us to cause noone to stumble.

Inspirational, never rode for the brand, although my boyfriend did. Getting ready to put our transitional Lamb Roast in the oven. This year no mashed potatoes. Some old timer "convinced us to do the scalloped potatoes and ham and green onions. Definitely not going to mention the Kent Rollins Original Recipe Spice either.
