Bonehead, along with all their dogs are rescues and in his memory, they are gathering donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society in New Mexico. Cowboy Kent just seems like the most wholesome guy. I've never heard him raise his voice and he just has a great aura about him. He's the epitome of hospitality and a willingness to share his knowledge with others. This is a fantastic collaboration and my goodness that food looked sooooo good. And that video of him giving the news about Bonehead was heartbreaking, but that wasn't a dog -- that was a family member -- and he had the greatest life possible because of his family. RIP to the beag.

THIS is the crossover we all needed! Such a great group of people. We love Mr. H, Mrs. H and Baby H and love Cowboy Kent Rollins. Put them all in a video together, throw in cooking and a bunch of good food and I dont see how you can improve on that. It truly amazes me that we live in a time when a British family with an interest in American cooking can come all the way to Oklahoma and eat off a chuckwagon, and the experience is available for all the world to see.

As a kid, our family lived where there were LOTS of wild blackberries. I would pick them all day, then my Mom would make cobbler for WEEKS on end. NEVER got tired of it, still one of my favorite things in the world. 😋😋😋😋

I just love Kent Rollins. I’m so glad he’s realizing the fame that he do deserves. I loved when he competed on Chopped BBQ filmed on an old western movie site. Kent was competing against younger and, allegedly, more qualified chefs. He just kept his head down and produced meal after meal of goodness. I so wanted him to win, and was somewhat okay when he accepted the second place with his usual gentleness, manners, and good sportsmanship. I always catch anything he does on TV. This was a great episode.

Its weird, half of me is like, we are from Oklahoma, its modern, we have great food...then the other half, oh! Youre cooking with him? Lucky!

I was excited to see this and it delivered. That tortilla burger you made was on the menu at Applebee's 5 or 10 years ago but this one looked better that just having pico de gallo on it. Now the Brits get to bring back some outdoor living on the trail with them.

Not many things more genuine than the interactions of 2 of my favorite RU-vid families cooking together. Love it. Love all your American adventures...........but I can not help think how lonely that Franklin smoker must be recently after crossing the Atlantic and now you guys flew the other way:) Maybe it was just a stepping stone, or maybe........our recently Americanized Brits are gonna take all these experiences back home to share with those not able to make the trip. I don't know why this pleases me as much as it does. What's weird to me is that during these wacky times internationally, there has been this reconnection between us regular folks across the pond. I don't know, it just makes me misty-eyed in a pleasant sort of way.

Hobo packets might be fun to try with Elana. Make a packet out of aluminum foil. Fill with meat,veg, seasonings. Seal. Cook on grill. Open on plate and garnish with. Example: mix in large bowl, sliced sausage of choice, 1C. Uncooked rice or potatoes, red beans, can roasted tomatoes, ch.onions and peppers, creole seasoning. Dole out onto Al. Packets in serving sizes with large spoon. Seal. Place on grill. I puncture thru foil after 1/2 hour to monitor doneness. Varieties of protein, veg, and seasonings are endless. Garnish for freshness.

One of my grandma's friends called us all "sugar" when I was little. I think she was originally from Texas. I know in New Orleans and surrounding areas where I'm at, some people will call you baby, but it's not in the usual chauvinistic way.
