I became a mom almost five years ago now and all those perfect vlog moms made me feel like shit about myself. Your tic toks actually reminded me how beautiful my life is where I live and that I’m not trying to raise a kid who values the superficial over the natural world. You also reminded me to wear a cute slip or something every one in a while instead of looking like the overwhelmed mom I felt like, which has really helped my self image. Hey beautiful, I couldn’t see super well but it kind of looked like you may have some webbing on your lemon tree which would mean you are probably dealing with spider mites. I’ve had success treating my plants with insecticidal soap and keeping them away from other plants so it doesn’t spread. I usually spray down the plant well with water then spray the insecticidal soap on every inch of the plant (those little shits hide well). Usually neem works better as a preventative in my experience but the soap will kill those buggos. I even follow up with neem oil in between soap treatments. Just keep your baby out of direct sun after treating because both the soap and neem will make her leaves more susceptible to burn. I hope this is helpful. You are correct, it is a spider mite infestation. I covered it in neem/bug repellant but I think the plant was too sick to begin with. It was the last one at the store and I was so excited they had one left I didn’t even check or consider the plant’s health before purchasing🥲 unfortunately I have given up on this lemon tree and have left it outside because I tried everything lol. I will try again with a new (healthier) lemon tree in the spring. Thank you for taking the time to help, I really really appreciate it💛💛💛
