The insanity of the zoo influenced the outcome of today's race as an already crazy weekend with delays and qualifying outcomes ended up with us having one of the most intense days of competition we have seen all season long which can have major implications on how the Countdown pans out. Blake Alexander and the Jim Head team's hard work all season finally paid off as they went rounds all the way to their first win since June of last year. Dallas Glenn ended the dominating streak that Elite Motorsports found themselves on and extended his points lead heading into Indy. Justin Ashley debuted a new chassis this weekend and it showed immediate results as they scored their first win since the spring portion of the season. Add a crazy mad thrash turnaround for the JR Todd group that saw Alexis DeJoria, Ron Capps, and Dave Richards crew hop on board to get that car turned around. Add some impressive runs from Jack Beckman, Josh Hart, and Tony Stewart and you have one HELL of a recap.
