Jack is a outstanding person. I have numerous photos taken with Jack when he was driving for DSR. I would love to have a picture with Jack this year but the Denso national in Sonoma is long gone and in the books. Maybe if Jack can get a full time job driving a fuel funny car in 2025, then maybe I'll get a picture with him then. Good luck Jack and win one for you and john
man I have missed Jack Beckman always got to have a convo with him at the New England Nationals ..even got me a piece of the infinite hero car from the explosion also have a great picture of it and he signed it for me nice 8x10 right there on my wall sitting beside a body piece from john forces car in 1989 ….I feel lucky to have both pieces and also a small chunk of Courtney's advance auto parts car also from the New England Nationals...Jack is the NHRA historian I enjoyed every historic stat he would tell...Jack is one of the greats of this sport and loved by the fans....I said on a message board on john force racing when they said they were searching for a driver to keep the car and john getting points....and in my post I said to them if it were me and my car and decision I would knock on Jack Beckman's door he would be my first choice you aren't going to get a better driver for that car than Jack in my opinion.. and if memory serves me I mentioned it in the thread and others started to throw out names ..I kind of chuckle when I remember how the discussion went and when the news came Jack would be doing it I was like whoa! is that power of suggestion working or God answering the prayer???...I am thinking it was more the good Lord making it come to fruition either way it happened and I am happy Jack is in the car for the rest of the season and hopefully the good lord will Get Jack a full time ride …..the sport and the fans need a man like Jack back on the track and his positive outlook even in the worst situations....thanks for the memories Jack.....Lets have some fun and go get this thing!
