Brennan: Hm. That scene was pretty heavy. It seems like the players could use a breather and some levity. Brennan: Time for the absolute Evil Gremlin of a gingerbread man
Finding out that Brennan does volunteer camp counseling as his vacation leave and tells scary stories with voices and all at campfires makes me appreciate him more
I love the idea of a season 2 where Swifty has like a big portfolio of different houses and is basically a slum lord and loanshark, but he lives in that nice 3 bedroom in dulcington
Swifty is the definition of a gingerbread version of lemongram who went batshit crazy and full murderhobo (I butchered the spelling but it’s adventure time)
oh damn... im just stealing this wholecloth as an antagonist for my fantasy DnD group when they hit the feywild... a psychopathic, squeeky af gingerbread man that serves a pagan witch of the mountains? heck yeah
I feel like everyone glosses over the botched murder suicide.... I have SO many questions.... was she trying to murder him and commit suicide? Did she survive? HOW did it go wrong??? Was he trying to murder her and commit suicide???? WHO WAS DOING THE MURDERING??? HOW DID IT GO WRONG? SWIFTY WHAT THR FUCK
Probably she tried to murder him and commit suicide and he ended up killing her. He confirms that he killed both of his wives and the only way a successful killer can botch a murder suicide is if they either don't hit something vital, which has an astronomically low chance of happening so long as you aim for the throat or just straight up gut yourself, or the gun misfires which has an even lower chance of happening in some circumstances. Also I imagine your wife trying to kill you and you (probably accidentally) killing her would probably fuck you up for a bit. That's probably why he turned to drugs.
something about swifty feels, almost unholy, but like in the way that he, simply existing is an affront to humanity. 3:54 this section reaally pleases lizard brain for some reason
The entire time I could only think of Mickey Mouse because the voice was so similar...picturing Mickey saying "I'll end your f**king life" will never not make my day.
This why i never trust anyone with either swift, trick, devil(or any variation thereof), or anything pertaining to chaos *in their name*. It’s just asking for trouble.
I feel like there's at least one Tiny Insane Shrill NPC in each season, and I honestly love it Also, hearing Lou complain about Swifty's voice is hilarious considering who he later plays in Neverafter
Yeah, this is the best part about dimension 20 campaigns, when the gang kills a lot of people, both innocent or bad. I think that was the reason I didn’t enjoy sleeping city season 2 as much as I did with the first one. The season was basically people being so nice and I like tender moments, but there was too much thinking and not much emotional based decisions like the previous ones. If anything, I think the death count is needed in these chaotic stories, both done by the party, or done by other characters.
