I’ve never caught a Lionheart series so early. Feels weird not having 50 videos to binge. Looking forward to the rest of this series!

Props to the goblin general in Bruinost, he took 40+ point-blank arrows from elite elven archers and was still standing

"We don't have much ammo, that's the ONLY problem" while one solitary unit of cav is chased across the plain by a mauarding Goblin horde, made me lol XD

When you get the twins in a few turns, they'll come with Dunedain Bodyguards, which are *amazing* foot archers. Their base ranged stat is already better than the High Elves' standard mid-tier archers, but they also get armor-piercing arrows which make them arguably even better than your elite archer (the recruitable elites, not Gil-Galad's company). Once you get them, turn them loose on the enemy's most armored units, and watch them melt! Even trolls will die fairly fast.

Your kind natured words about being a content creator in the time of covid earned you a like and a follow. Not that the usual content hadn’t already convinced me.

Hymns of Rivendell 3....... Gaerdaer and Berenor were marching with some Dunedain and other elves from Rivendell as they headed as a reinforcement group to take over the dead from Lord Elrond army. There were many warriors and soldiers in the units around but at the moment Gaerdaer was quite aloof with the fact that he was able to easily join in the military again while his son was probably still in disbelief. The man who had been recruiting volunteers for the effort had watched Gaerdaer, who came fully dressed in his gear from the Third Age, and practically had told him to get tatted marching since anyone from the Third Age willing to fight could easily take on the forces of Mordor. That being said, it took some bargaining to get his son even if they were the possible prodigy of him and thus the trip to the encampment of Lord Elrond had been quite uneventful. From the tales of those who came back, Lord Elrond had finally launched a campaign to eradicate the Goblins of the nearby mountains, creatures of darkness who had long coveted the area of Rivendell for their own uses. But now the elves of Rivendell were marching to war and as the Gaerdaer watched Berenor tussle at his armor, a silver version of Gaerdaer armor as he had asked Berenor be assigned to him as a elven sort of squire. Berenor had not been happy about it but as it was, Gaerdaer didn’t wish to see his son die so soon in a battle. His back jostled with a quiver and arrows within it but Gaerdaer could see the encampment of Lord Elrond of Rivendell in the near distance, a few smokes and dozens of tents set up on the outskirts of an Orcish encampment, likely goblins needing to be slain. The whole train of elven and Dúnedain warriors coming to reinforce Lord Elrond army soon came to the encampment and as men were processed, Gaerdaer took himself, his son, and their simple provisions to the main tent of Lord Elrond to report to him directly as they would be part of his company. Or rather the remains of Lord Gil-Galads company, a elven Lord who was brutally slain by Sauron himself on the slopes of Mount Doom in that final battle. The tent entrance was flanked by two of the gold-armored elven warriors of the company who let the pair in and Gaerdaer bowed deeply to the figure of Elrond who was at a nearby table, saying, “It has been many moons since I have laid eyes upon Lord Elrond in his battle armor.” “Gaerdaer the Lionhearted...” Lord Elrond hadn’t physically changed since the Third Age but his voice and his eyes told of his wise mind he had gained from peace. “This must be your son, Berenor.. I see you finally did put on your armor again.” “When I heard my son was joining the effort to push the orcs back, I knew I had to show him how things went.” Said Gaerdaer. Elrond smiled and then said to Berenor, “Your father has done many a great deed in the Third Age. I hope you will become Asia’s promising a warrior as he was.” “Yes, Lord Elrond.... thank you, Lord Elrond.” Said Berenor with a bow in humbleness.

Also the dwarfs of the blue mountains will attack if they choose the rings so watch out for that. Often times if the player is not playing the high elves will lose mithlong before AA army arrives.

When you get Glorfindel, can you send him against Angmar, as in the legendarium he created the downfall of Angmar, Maybe he could even kill the Witch King, if both are able to fight each other ( even tho that was Eowyn and Merry in the books)

North/North-east of Undertower, there is a settlement with no wall if I remember right. Take it quick before the Dwarf and I think it will be enough to turn your income in the green. With that, you can begin to turtle there and manage Imladris and the goblin as you please.

Lionheart don't destroy the buildings at Brunost because you'd need to build them again and it'll take too long and cost you more and if you want to stir up rebellions increase the tax rates to make to most money from the settlments before they rebel

lmao, your relations with the Dark Lord of Mordor are "good" according to the relations report ;)

By the way the population doesnt affect tax rate its the buildings and what tier your settlement is e.g. village, town, large town, city, large city, huge city

zagh kala can become a good recruitment centre, Bruinost takes hundreds of turns to grow, forget about investing money there unless its in economic buildings

lionheartx10, Thanks again for another video even in these trying times. Keep up the good work! Journal of Elrond's daughter; We lost or cavalry on patrol today. They killed a warg patrol but found themselves caught in an attack. Thankfully they did some damage while they went down. May they be avenged! We are losing territories t but with my father, Lord Elrond leading the forces, I know it is all a plan. What could it be! On to positive news, in the west our forces have taken another settlement by forcing the orc residents out of their hiding places.

I know I’m 7 months late but wanted to say it anyway. Next time if you need a diplomat on the other side of the mountain you can move him into Zagh Kala. Then you will be able to get out on the other side (autopathing for some reason doesn’t see that opportunity). Another thing is you should never get rid of all 3 ships. Your admiral has 6(!) command stars and for an admiral that insanely high and counts for a lot of naval battles. Now if you recruit new ships you have 0 star admirals. Looking forward to bingewatch this series and this comment was mostly for advice in your future endeavors!

After you get your finances back in order, maybe it'd be good to get another diplomat and send him east, so that you can do business on both sides of the Misty Mountains at the same time.

In the effort to claim more resources for the High Elf Alliance, Gildor Inglorion sat out to claim the mining town of Buzra-Dum in and effort to finally precure some of the much needed revenue required to find their forces. The mining settlement dated back far into the Second Age before The Great Sundering that divided the Blue Mountains. The settlement was now home to a band of orcs that had been using the road and materials to be found within to make their weapons and raid near by settlements. However it was not the orcs that truly worried Gildor with this move, but the dwarves of Erid Luin. Gildor knew the dwarves feverly sought to one day regain lost glories of old and wondered how long it would be before the dwarves demanded the lost settlement be returned to them. -The lost mines of Buzra-Dum

Don't push South of Buzra-dûm. If the Clans of Enedwaith spot you, they will probably attack. Head north, then eastwards to search for that settlement.

Speaking of the Twins, I recently found out that bringing them back has something to do with sending a Diplomat to Amon Sul. Not sure if that's all you have to do, but that is part of it.

You probs know this already but after you capture a settlement you can offset the camera to see roughly what their happiness is i.e just hit say left arrow until you can see the little face on the campaign map and it can help you decide on whether you occupy/exterminate/sack

At Forlond you can alter the tax rate as the governor's there now and have a potential to reduce your negative cash flow deficit. Also you should try and build a temporary Alliance with the dwarves of kazar dum to finish off the goblins of moria .

Im not sure if this has been mentioned or if you know but Dunadain wardens have shield wall formation which vastly increases their defensive capability which is very good against Goblin trash units and vastly improves their survivability.

Well, that's a bit of downfall to my eyes... I wouldn't abandon Zagh Kala, instead I would put a unit to keep the town. Same with Bruinost. But it's your game, thus your strategy. Yes, since you want to hamper your enemies, then you need to destroy the important buildings. Also, if you want to make the towns rebell, then put the tax level to the highest point, you'll get a bit of money until they rebell. Good decision to wait to see the outcome of the rebellion. If the Orcs win the siege, they will be pretty much hampered, then you can strike a decisive blow on them before they are able to recover. If the rebels win, then they will be hampered and you'll win the city back easily. But have in mind that with the HE, it takes some time to have the economy stabilised, so your first army will do most of the job. I think that you can have the next army y the time of the twins' arrival. In the west lie the most prominent chances of expansion, so Gildor is really in an expedition and he does really well. Rebel armies have no chance against him. As for the generals, have in mind that they reduce corruption and devastation if they are stationed in towns. I remember strongly that Arachir Galudirithon has said that in a Developer Diary. Plus that you can give them some militia units and take out rebel armies in need. The other things are in your knowledge. I'm happy that you are doing well in this campaign, keep on with the good work and keep yourself and the family safe.

Also settlements with ports should be your priority if you intend to build a good fast economy.

Bruh if you cant invest in settlements you should raze em to maximize your gains and stop your enemies from gaining by retaking em.

lionheart. i think you made a mistake by launching wars on two front. high elves are extremely tight on economy. so i think better you should turtle up in imladris taking advantage on large number of free upkeep and just focus for awhile in mithlond..building up the economy there and stabilizing region as well as capturing rebel settlements all the while keep on harrassing moria. then when you are ready, launch a massive rapid offensive against the orc of moria. just like galu said in his faction overview.

After you take Buzra Dum you should disband the entire western army and focus entirely on the east to make more money

Can you play rise of mordor ?

I don't know why but every 3 turns or so my game crashes. It says it ran into an unexpected error and it exits. It happens after battles and they don't save, meaning i have to do them 2 times. If anyone can help please do so. Very much appreciated
