I hear you. I am in my 50's, so the Cannon films of the 80's are right up my alley. Seeing the joy these guys get from some of my old favorites that I used to wear out on VHS like Revenge of the Ninja, Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in Action, the Death Wish films and Invasion USA warms what little soul I have left. I have watched those reviews repeatedly and it never gets old.

I get the impression Tim Kincaid won like 60$ on a scratch ticket and as he was celebrating he got the idea to write the greatest movie script known to humanity, but he was only able to use 23$ on the budget because he had to keep the repo men off his back from the last disaster he was involved in... Thanks guys I laughed my ass off on this one, it was just so horrible! Cheers!

Brants -- I apologize for all of the brutal dialog. Could only find 1 scene from this movie online and it was the cyborg firing his machine gun peen. That 1 min. made me "pull the trigger" on adding it to the SBIG library. Forgive me!

@@Specter5053can't speak for him, but if ya wanna find weird, obscure flicks I'd recommend pawn shops, game shops that also sell used movies, movie stores if you can find any (sadly, it seems like there aren't many left), and dig through shit online for them (you may have to get some bootlegged dvds, cause alotta this stuff sadly doesn't have an official dvd release).

When he shoots the guy running down the stairs and then the shootout ends for no apparent reason (18:40), the guy shot with his pointer finger. I saw it and was confused - I thought the lighting was terrible and he had a tiny gun or something. Robot finger guns makes the next line, "I told you you'd thank me for that someday," make more sense. Is combover the guy who invented the cyborg?!?!

There's a lot of theories about front loaded (and I mean action up from, boring after, movies). I think it's all about convincing distributors on low budget movies upfront that the movie is worth distributing. Especially back in the days when many theaters were privately own compared to the corporate ownership today. I worked at a VHS store almost 30 years ago and eventually dipped my toe in distribution before changing careers.

To be fair, I fast forwarded through the non-stop dialogue in this movie. The video doesn't show it, but there are LONG stretches where nothing happens. I just happen to like bad writing.

Nice Halestorm beanie, but I can tell Erin didn't miss the misery in this one. I'm so glad Jason cut 90% of the pointless dialog out of this video. It's such a shame, because there was clearly a LOT to explain in this, and yet even with all that talking, I never heard anybody say a word like "cyborg" that actually would have explained the movie a bit.

Tim KIncaid also directed Robot Holocaust, which is perfect for this show... AND has one of the best good-bad performances in the history of cinema with Valaria - her accent has to be heard to be believed. It was on MST3K for a reason. Kincaid also directed Breeders, a nasty exploitative film that is almost exactly what you're imagining just from the title, only far more boring. Stay away from that one unless you want one HELL of an editing job to make it RU-vid-acceptable - there's an awful lot of female nudity.
