I got Dabble after trying Scrivener and like it so much better. First, it has a much simpler interface. Second, because it is web-based, I can access my work on any platform that can connect to the web. So, if an idea comes to me while I am waiting I can quickly add it to my story. This was a very helpful tutorial. I had my current project open and worked through the different steps along with the tutorial.
Just got the Pro version without even trying it. Incorrigible me! I like what I see. Now I need to start copy pasting all my work from Scrivener and Word and see how it goes. Thanks Jacob
It would be cool to have the ability to know what page and how many words are in a chapter at the point where the cursor is. Is that even possible? Sort of a running tally of the page number and the word count at the current cursor position for when you might want to break up the chapter and start a new chapter in the middle of a chapter
this fixes a lot of problems i have with other writing apps. im constantly adding new scenes, new chapters, or moving chapters and scenes around. also appreciate chapter titles not included towards the actual word count.
Thank you for this! It seems like your software really combines the best of other apps (scrivener, google docs, etc) and leaves out the extraneous as well as adds a lot of beautiful unique features. Exactly what I’m looking for, will give it a try!
Hi there I've just subscribed to the free 14 day trial and am concerned that my writing will disappear if i decide not to go with Dabble after the 14vdays. Also i can't seem to find the sync on my icloud drive (Macbook Air) although it says it is synching. Hope you can help as haven't been able to find the answers on Dabble help page
