She has a point there about thinking mother tongue means the taste of your mother's cooking. It makes sense.

It was an accidental mistake but made perfect sense.

"I love you four." Should become a saying.

Sooo incredibly sweet. Now, the only thing missing is the eating part, because....magical things happen when people "break bread together."

They did not make this film. They just bought the rights to show it on their platform.

I loved this video so much! It touched my heart. I can not only relate to this story but also can feel a lot of emotions that are not said directly in words in this video. The daughter saying "sorry" and "I love you" must mean the world for her mom.

What a wonderful, too-short story of a beautiful mom and a beautiful daughter - thank you Lina Li, and to your mom too.

What a wonderful video. I don't speak Chinese, but I love listening to people speak Chinese, its a beautiful sounding language. This also makes me miss my late mother.

This is so beautiful. I think sharing food, especially someone cooking for you is really touching. Unfortunately I got really sick 7 years ago and developed food sensitivities. No one in my family has ever bothered learning what I can/cannot eat or ever cooks for me even though I've explained it and shared recipes. If I get invited over to one of their houses for a holiday I have to bring my own meal. Feels weird.

Beautiful kitchen. They must be wealthy. Nice to see a Chinese mom not being afraid to utter “ I love you” to her daughter.

Mothers love their children unconditionally. Not even your husband or boyfriend comes close to that kind of love. So appreciate your mother while she is alive before it's too late, then you will regret it for the rest of your life.
