A David Alexander Fireside , TREASURING OUR FAITH! Lewis & Clark Ward, Pocatello, Idaho, 6/10/24 

I searched when I was 16 yrs old. LDS Family lived next to me, and missionaries taught me. I prayed to know if what they said was true, and if the Book of Mormon was true. I went to a wooded area and prayed. Every question I asked Heavenly Father was true. Every question I asked, was answered in the positive. My friend who saw me said I was enveloped in pure white light. That was 50 yrs ago, I have served full-time mission, and 2 family history missions. I love this church and gospel with all my heart and soul. My life was spared at birth and then again in 2017 my organs and body was shutting down. Fasting and prayers of members helped save my life. I KNOW JESUS IS THE CHRIST, we have the Lord's true church and gospel are restored. We have a living prophet and 12 apostles of Jesus Christ on the earth today! Best thing I've ever done.❤

I could listen to your testimony of these Divine truths over and over again. THANK YOU AGAIN brother David. 😊

So many treasures to list. 1. The fact that can do something for my ancestors besides just remember them. This church is the only one that believes this. 2. I don’t think we treasure the blessings of the law of chastity. We are among the last of the churches on earth who strictly adhere to this. 3. A road map given by latter day prophets clearly expounds upon the latter days and the second coming. Imagine how cool it would be to hear the news before it happened. 4 the endowment is given by revelation and so it is best understood by revelation. This is such a gem. We can have the restoration given to us line upon line and taught by Him directly. 5 Book of Mormon Just to name a few

We love you Bro. Alexander and we are glad that you are now home to help each of us see what we have and can give to others.

Absolutely incredible how the world has believed the lie that we are not Christian and how completely Biblical the Church is, as proven by one who “knows the Bible like the back of his hand.”

As illustrated in Jacob 5, we literally serve side by side Jesus Christ to bring souls unto his Restored Gospel

You have no idea how your humble conversion story has strenthened my faith in our prophet and the quorum of the 12. I love them more than ever! And thanks for taking on the negative voices that are trying to tear down other people’s faith in the church and its restoration. I pray that your voice will continue to have a divine way to be amplified in these confusing days of unbelief!

The Temples are literally a physical treasure. And they represent the Truth that is Jesus Christ. For in the Temple we transcend time, as we do not only seek peace on Earth for the now mortal, but peace for all, across all generations and all time.

The most special treasure that comes to mind immediately is the Temples.

Most of the would sees the insensibility of interpreting the scriptures every which way a thus have given up in some respects of making sense of the many differing views beliefs and churches. Thus the need for the Saints of God to proclaim the Restoration boldly like never before! Yes, the "excellent" content totally makes up for the camera angle ! Have noticed this account _did not_ include the episide when David was 16 yesrs old and attended a revival with his friends. All still very true!

I was a little jealous when I saw you were going to do this fireside. Wish I could have been there. This was my ward for about 12 years before my family and I moved away 3 years ago, just before the Temple was completed. You have an amazing story and a beautiful testimony. The Lord has led you on a journey through the wilderness and in His own due time brought you to the Promised Land. I am glad to have you as a brother in Christ and warrior for truth.

Truth is, you speak the truth.

So when a person prays the sinner's prayer, don't you think that the spirit testifies of truth? After all Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. But that experience can't be the end of conversion, but the beginning. Even to where the Holy Ghost can be a constant companion testifying of all truth.
