Crispen ‘Golide’ Tshuma is a passionate livestock herder who believes that his job is a skill and requires vast amounts of patience. Herding livestock from as early as the age of 10, Crispen mastered the art of keeping different types of animals. We also get to discuss the different types of indigenous fruits that he consumes whilst looking after his pride.
~Traditional Fruits Platter:
» Umtshwankela - Also known as Tsubvu in ChiShona, and chocolate-berry in English. This fruit is obtained from the Fingerleaf tree, which is an indigenous African tree.
» Umqokolo - The fruit is native to southern region of Africa including Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique and Swaziland. Its distribution extends from the Kei River in the south, from which the common name derives, northwards along the eastern side of the continent to Tanzania.
» Umviyo - Nutritionally the fruit is a good source of protein, carbohydrates, calcium and vitamin C. The Umviyo is also used to make vinegar, porridge and traditional beer.
» Iminyela - Known as Mbwabwa in ChiTonga, this fruit is widely distruted in the following areas: Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

» Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the show is derived from Prince's inspiration for falling in love with cooking; his grandmother. The goal of MMMC is to document and serve Africa's diverse food culture, one dish at a time. We believe that Africa has got unique meals that ought to be talked about, and most importantly, cooked consistently. We believe in the values of Ubuntu, Respect, Creativity and Minimalism.
