These tires are absolutely amazing. I have a set myself and I’m an avid hunter and we have about 8 inches of snow on the ground. Drove through fields today in 2wd and never even noticed. Not to mention they are insanely nice in the ice

Snow removal has come a long way since I used to plow in my CJ-5 w/6 1/2’ Meyers blade. Wow, that was 50 years ago. I’ve been on the west coast of Florida for the past 40 years, but enjoy watching you guys pushing it.

I do the snow removal for a Ford dealership here in Canada. I use an 2010 F350 with the triton v10 engine and an extreme V blade, it gets the job done but i always dream of owning a newer 350 with the new 6.7 that thing must be a beast pushing snow!

Great video man! You are right about people that think $40 is too much to pay for snow removal. They don't understand the cost of running a business like this. Just like you, I am a legit business, pay insurance and taxes. If they want a cheap job, pay the person that is not insured and you will get what you pay for. My phone is always ringing and I will deal with people that understand what I am doing. Keep up the great work!

Born and raised in the southern US, I've never experienced intense snow like this. But it's so freaking hot down here that I've grown to absolutely hate the heat so this winter wonderland would be heaven for me.

Miss it. Did snow removal in the Air Force using 34k & 54k lbs. Oshkosh rollovers for the flight line, it was a real kick in the 6. Base streets we just used 5t diesel internationals. Pete Field Co. Springs 82-84. Mcguire AFB NJ 79-82.

I like it, you should get some speed tech warning lights on there! The ally lights would help see around you and the amber for warning for other drivers

Being from New Zealand and driving ski shuttle busses up som pretty hairy 6700ft mountain access roads this reminds me of those days. I plow with the Firestone Winterforce Triple Mountain 🏔 rated tires ! Special rubber compound for cold 🥶 temps and aggressive tread pattern! Never been stuck yet! Try them you will like them!

We do snow in Montreal Canada. 25 years. Anything over 15cms means chains on back wheels. Can't beat it

I live in Massachusetts and the most we’ve gotten at once this year is 4 inches I miss it about 5 years ago I think maybe 4 we had around 5 ft of snow it was awesome because I was still wicked little so it was just amazing

Those older boss plows are the best they last forever the newer ones I like them but I have a few friends that have the same model as you and they just go and go. I love my fisher poly v they are a little heavier then the steel plows because of the extra bracing but low maintenance and performs well

I bought a brand new Boss VXT with the led headlights in 2018 and it has been a good plow so far. I use it for personal use only and do a few family members homes.

I love playing in the snow. I have a Western Wide out. 8. To 10 ft. Plow. I had it it for 5 years and it goes on a 2005 Dog. Ram .

Good video. I think I like plow it the larger amounts of snow more than the 3-4”. Although it does take a lot longer. Like you I love the versatility of my V-plow. Can’t imagine doing it with a straight blade. Also, love the hat! GOPATS!!

Appreciate the videos as I can see what other plows work well, and different conditions. I love my snoway on the 3/4 ton Chevy but do not like the ease of getting it on. The western on the other truck is so much easier but it is very old. Anyway thanks.

Let that transmission fully engage into reverse before you step on the throttle. I also like to take a lil pressure off of the plow before I raise it. Stack your snow , let the snow bring it up but lifting the snow with the pump kills your electric motor, overheats the hydraulic fluid too.

I know you've mentioned how much you like the Grabber ATX's overall, but I also noticed that you mentioned that the Grabber ATX tires had a little slip in deep snow when plowing. Was this more than what you experienced with the previous tires on that truck and are you a little disappointed by that? If your not satisfied with their performance for plowing there are a bunch of other options out their that get good reviews. Falken Wildpeak AT3W is one worth exploring if your not going to go with the Grabbers for the 2020. Cooper Discoverer AT3 XL or AT3 XLT possibly as well. Good snow bite has a lot to do with how much siping in the tread, the more the better for wet and snow. Snow on snow traction is better than rubber on snow and lots of siping gives you that. Look no further than a dedicated winter tire for proof of that. Aggressive tread pattern does not equate with better snow traction hence mud tires are notoriously bad in snow.

Seems snow plowing is very hard on your transmission and brakes. Makes sense to use a older truck vs. a new truck to plow. Must go through a lot of maintenance?

I’m in my R&D stage, I hope to be plowing next season. Just residential for me, I’ll evolve though. My plow guy friends run GoodYear Wrangler duratrecs, they say best tire for plowing. They turned my F150 into a beast.

I prefer the Toyo AT3's myself. They've always gotten great traction on the snow and here in Montana for me

I plow with a winter ❄️ rubber compound. Firestone Winterforce 275x70R18 on my Ram 2500. Haven’t been stuck in six years! Just traded in my Boss 8’ Superduty straight blade for a DXT 8’2” . I should be more efficient.

What tires are on this truck? General Grabber ATX? Can you show us who don't know, how to lock the front hubs? I was unaware the superduty's have front locking hubs.

Might pick up a camera for the "back up" on recording too, when you are doing it commercially. Might get an insurance reduction for being "proactive" vs reactive. If play back is easy and keep a log of the downloads for easy looking back/history.

Send some of that to lower Michigan lol. We have only had rain and flooding really so far

Finally getting some snow here in western Man.,Snoman groomer has yet to go past our place,-30c and going down.

V plows are nice put. A wide out will do a better job. 8x10 wide out covers alot of ground. I use vplow for long driveways.

It does not suck ! 1 can always learn something new. Or ideas for better equipment. + it is nice to see how the other half lives......☺☺😆😆😆 ! 👍

On your 2020 install a stainless steel fisher or western. Get the option LED lights $400 upgrade. Stainless looks really nice on white. By going with fisher or western your plow frame sets about 5 to 6” higher better for gravel roads. Great video thanks

I changed my factory tires to bfg tko's and they were ok, I then went to the grabber at2 and loved them so my next truck got the atx's now and won't go with anything else. $1200 for the bfg's and $900 for the general's

Cant belive you never buy a regular cab for work especialy for plowing , gave up plowing a couple years ago and got a crew cab and dont like even driving it around . So iv traded it in and having a reg cab F-350 built and im not even plowing with it .
