For all those who are dreaming to work in this company and saying we will learn programming etc. Tech companies not only hires programmers, there are many things. Alone software engineers can't run the company. With Business degrees you can easily do job at tech. In video, Kevin is doing sales intern which is part of business, you can become a product designer by studying design, you can become a UX Researcher by studying psychology. IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO STUDY COMP SCI/SE.
I felt so good when I watched this video... It gave me the chills. My dream is to become a worker at Microsoft or Google in North America, not even becoming an entrepreneur, just work for any of those companies, I really want to learn software development/computer science/programming, and one day end up hired by them, I live in a third world country so that's going to be tough. PD: Sorry if I bothered you, I just wanted to take this off my chest

I have firm desire to learn programming and programming languages for doing work like full stack developer as Remote or freelancer. Its my dream and wish to work and keep learn more in software field.

How much time did they give you to build the demo app? I didn't know they make interns develop demo apps. Don't interns get to do any actual tasks? Does it differ from company to company? Also, did they provide you with a laptop or some other work equipment? Great video btw!
Hey there! Thanks for the comment. Every company is different; every campus of each company is different; and even different teams within a company branch (ex. sales, cloud, web, etc.) will offer different opportunities for interns. So it's really on a case-by-case basis! They gave us Microsoft Surface pro laptops to work with.
@@KevinT Thanks for the reply. I get it now. Btw, how much time do they provide you with for completing a certain task? Like how much time did you have in hand to complete the app? The 9-5 working hour policy is huge and being a programmer myself (web developer), I wud like to know what kind of work they give you everyday to do between those hours? Do you spend most of your time coding? Idle? Or doing meetings?
That's good but from a video perspective work on continuity it is very visible that part of video are shot on different days for example getting down from car
@Kevin Schiebeck nah 😂 I'm already graduating with a bachelor's in illustration/animation. I have to work, save up money and move ASAP 😔. I wish I could go back in time and change my major in 2014 to computer engineering. Would've been making my own robots and getting my master's by now.

@@re681 I am finishing the second year, and I think it is better that I finish...otherwise I would throw time and money into the bin 🤗 maybe I could do a master and courses less related to the field that I am studying and...I don t know. I m thinking about but I don t know what to do right now, also because I have to find a job then...so..😅🤣 in some way I will find something that I enojoy 💪
