i start an apprenticeship tomorrow and this video gave me a awesome representation of what it might be like. you got my subscription, keep up the great work my friend.
Good video 👍🏽! As a homie tip I know it’s about production at times but take a little more pride in running wires it’ll become a habit which will separate you from the rest. Other than that your solid
Yo. I’ve never really done a housing development quite like this. We’re more custom homes and rewires. Got a few questions, 1. You residential? Or do you do commercial as well? 2. How long does it take to rough in all those new houses on this project? Like house by house?
Hey Seth, to answer your questions at the moment I only do residential but I am on my way to learning commercial and it usually takes us about 1 days per house depending on what the house itself has inside as well with all the add ons and options thank you 🙏🏻
Great job Homie. You're doing a whole home rough in within 1 day or 2 days at the max? That's real good. I need to step my game up. LOL What was the square footage and do you charge a dollar amount per sq ft or just by the job as in a flat rate for each house or project? Thanks as I'm in Texas and I'm trying to compare the market from State to State. Thanks
I get paid by the work I do so they give me a price for the full house and we have to manage how long we take to wire it but usually takes us a day or maybe 2, but thank you bro appreciate it 🙏🏻
When you're looking at the plans, how do you keep track of what you have accomplished and haven't accomplished? Also, when working on a home with just the framing up like that, do you work if it rains? Or if it's snowing hard?
For those kind electricians my outlets are 1 1/2 inches off and i have no clue how they trow wires everywhere in the attic (why not organize every wire to look clean)?????
Well the ones that we are using in the rough houses are hardwired and have the backup battery so if power goes out in the house the backup battery will be in use
Aye bro you got to look at how other trade techs make their youtube videos and work on like better edits, more commentary & better camera work. I know its hard but if you dont put the youtube attempt at the same level as your job this shit is never going to grow. You got put on my front page via algorithm and you kind of blew it. On the next one i hope to see better content coz im interested in watching u. I just had to turn it off bcoz the audio from the X2 speed was annoying me. I didnt get that far into the video. You have potential. Subbed.
Thank you for the sub! And thank you for the advise it was my first time doing a video like that but I will be making more video like that and explaining what I’m doing and less of the X2 speed but thank you again 🙏🏻
Respectfully this trade is great to learn especially if you ask questions as these houses required 14-2 for all plugs except GFCI outlets which is Kitchen and outside plugs and the bathroom plugs basically all GFCI yes there are some houses that require 12-2 per outlet but this one didn’t and as for my bag if it’s getting the job done and I’m comfortable working with it I don’t see a problem but thank you for your input buddy!
