I went to Queen Mary and graduated in 1992 (before you were borne), when they started to build your accommodation blocks. Good to see how they turned out. I did Physics degree. Back then student accommodation was in South Woodford. High rise blocks 12 floors high. At lot still seems the same like Mile End Station, the library, going into central London etc.

hey i have a question! i’m thinking of applying to qmul but apparently the area in which it’s campus is situated in is rough and scary? like especially around mile end, apparently. what do you think about the area? i really have my heart set on qmul but i don’t want to live in a terrible area.

Go for a flat in Pooley House and on the 7th floor(At least try, the higher up you get your room the better views you get) facing canary wharf. You will get the best views on campus. Zacc is also from Pooley House. Don't go for France House it's overrated, only pro is you get a bathtub, but nobody really uses a bathtub.
