Oh my goodness, Gabe and Adam look IDENTICAL!!! That’s crazy how similar they look. Thanks for sharing this video! It’s fun to see your older 4 younger
Jessica...I would absolutely love to see more videos from your archives. This was so enjoyable to watch and being a newer subscriber to your wonderful channel I am enjoying every video I can find from years past. God bless you and your beautiful family! 💕
I got up with my husband every single day and made him breakfast and packed his lunch for 15 years. He started intermittent fasting so then I started sleeping in which was helpful for me as a mother of five little girls within six years. I was able to go through all five of our girls on cloth diapers and almost all of them made it! I was then able to gift our diapers to a church friend and she was able to use them for her kiddos.
You're a wonderful Mum... now and back ten years ago! I'd love to see more of any special videos you are happy to share. The fact you share posts of your beautiful family is a blessing to me. Miss Hannah seems to be the most contented and gorgeous baby, thanks to her wonderful family. Thank you so much for all you do.
You're doing a great job, then and now! I was a stay at home Mom of 8 children, 13 years apart from 1992 to 2005. It truly is the most rewarding life experience and I wish more Moms would and could stay home to raise their babies!
I was a stay at home Mom with just 2 children. It was by far the hardest yet most rewarding job I have ever had. It was such a blessing that I never take for granted. My children are both grown and married and now I am full time caregiver for my 2 year old. Granddaughter.
I was a stay at home mom, and gave birth to our first son 40 years ago. Three years later I gave birth to our second son. I can honestly say that I would do it all again!! ❤ I did not go back to work until our youngest was in 3rd grade. Fortunately I was able to work while the children were at school, and I picked them up from school every day. After school we would all go home to have snack time, then homework began. I cherish those years ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You're such a wonderful Mom - and I would know, my mom was one in a million, and I see the same love & care pouring out of you into your children - and you haven't aged in ten years!!!!! Hope the rest of your week is fabulous, and I'll "see you" Sunday!
It's amazing to see you've been this stay at home Wonder Woman for so long! It makes me angry to think about people who complain about how hard it is with one or two children, when people like you are living proof that a good heart and a strong work ethic can achieve amazing things.
Don’t judge others for what their hard might be. We have no idea what other people might be going through. Everyone’s hard is different. This is why Christ is the ultimate judge and not ourselves.
@@caitlinlorea912 Im not saying theyre better or worse people or that people who struggle make me angry, Im saying specifically the people who complain about how hard having a small family is. its like someone saying 'this sport is too hard, etc..' instead of putting in more time/effort. While I agree 100% with the Christ being the ultimate judge, a lot of people will claim to be overwhelmed when in reality, theyre not willing to put in the effort
@@pepperpeterpiperpickled9805 but how do you know what effort they are putting in? How do you know what their day to day looks like? Why can’t they have a hard time too? Just because they have fewer kids doesn’t mean it can’t be hard. We never know what people are going through and it just seems like it’s a lot of judgement on what people are doing. If someone is having a hard experience and they are saying that then just let them say that, instead of coming and judging someone for how hard you perceive they are working.
@@caitlinlorea912 You can tell a tree by the fruit it produces/ you can discern "whining" from "struggling". Obviously if someone has a situation considered 'easier' relative to my life, but they seem overwhelmed by their life, that's not an indictment on them. If someone is not what Bonnie from Outnumbered: the podcast' would consider an 'intentional parent', and they complain about nonsense, then seeing people like Jessica who're living proof that there's no excuse for not putting in the effort, if they have or they are, then its not aimed at them.
My goodness! Seeing Adam with the baby on the counter it was like seeing Gabe with Hanna! What a little treasure this video is. Thank you for sharing it. *Hugs*
Such a true statement that “ motherhood is difficult no matter the season “ What a blessing to see how your family has grown and blossomed!🙏 And grandchildren DO fill the refrigerator with pictures 😊
"Not quite sure why I put the bread in the fridge but I guess that's what I did 10 years ago." 🤣 That made me laugh! As women, we change as much as we stay the same, don't we? Thanks for sharing Jessica! The scenes of baby Elizabeth sleeping are just precious.
Thank you for that surprise video treat! They were so sweet littles! It's interesting to see how the younger 4 have traits similar to the older 4. And Gabe looks so much more like Adam's younger self than I imagined.
I think the most SHOCKING thing was how much Gabe looks like Adam! Seeing Adam stand at the kitchen counter and live on the baby, at first my brain wanted to think it was Gabe. So that was fun. You wore your hair longer, but still wore a head covering. And several other things were just fun to see. So yes, more of these would be interesting to see. Especially if it meant an extra video each week. LOL
I loved the glimpse from the past. I wished ,so many times, that we had the technology back in the day like we do today. Always fun to look back together.
It's great and so realistic. As a mom of two kids (ages 4 and 2) and one on the way, I truly thank you for sharing this. We see too much "perfection" at times on social media and can deceive moms never feeling we do enough but looking at you and your family makes me feel inspired. God bless you all!
Wow, this was so fun to listen to while making dinner, I may watch it again when I'm not busy! I currently have four children five and under, and I also homeschool, but we're in a teeny, tiny apartment (stuck because of the housing market). I would love to see more of these old videos with fewer and littler children!
This was fun, thank you. Something that so many people do, and I have to chuckle a bit, is think that they need to put their face so close to a newborn's face, at times, when talking/interacting with eye contact to eye contact. (I'm not referring to Momma's nursing time, or someone offering a little kiss) Imagine if someone put their face only inches away from our face to interact with us. 😊 we'd be like ... whoa ... please back up a bit. But it's a sweetness and people all over do it.
Thank you so much for sharing that video, how sweet to see the older children when they were younger. Oh what a blessing each and everyone of them are, love and Prayers from Indiana
What a great video! So fun to see the older children when they were little, and how the day went. It seems like I can see a resemblance between Adam and Gabriel at the beginning that I hadn't realized before. I would enjoy seeing more of these "vintage" videos.
What a special treat to be able to watch you in a season close to where I am at with all littles and no big kids. Through this God continues to remind me that when he calls children a blessing he means it. ❤ Thank you for sharing.
It’s funny that although I’m 65 mentally I still feel younger but physically I’m feeling older, seeing Adam look so young just shows the progression of our aging but your mind still keeps you young ❤
Such a fun little video. I enjoyed seeing the older 4 as the wee ones. The joy on your face as you explained everything was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
This was so awesome! They were so little! Gabe is identical to Adam! Thank you for sharing this! Your children are beautiful blessings! The years go by so fast and it's so great you found this video & it's so funny you now have 4 more little ones around the same ages!🤗💖
Good for you for getting into the videos. My children are now 30, 23 and 20 and I am almost always the person behind the camera and rarely in front. I wish I had done more of that.
That was so fun I loved it, everyone looked so happy and of course much younger, except for you, I swear you have not aged a day, the only difference was the length of your hair. Please share more it's like looking through a much loved family album.
Thank You!!!!!! I so totally enjoyed your look into the past! It was so very awesome of you to share that!!! Your family is amazing in so very, very, very many ways!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤
Love that you shared this! What an encouraging mid-week treat! I have felt so overwhelmed homeschooling and raising just three children who are reasonably spaced out (3y), but my two boys are 1 and 4 and keep things pretty wild and crazy around here. The house is never clean, but we eat good food and for the most part enjoy life at home together. I'm hoping that's enough till I have some helpers age into doing some of the work with me. 😆
Amen! Motherhood is difficult and different no matter the season! I strive to look at it as a blessing. Some days I have to remind myself of this. I have four ages 18-2. We are in all the stages of parenthood right now. Watching your videos and seeing your happiness is a blessing!❤
Hi, I found your channel few months ago. This video help me to realise that motherhood is always challenge. As a mother of 5 small children I am sometimes so tired...but still love all of my little ones and my husband too. Thanks for joy. 🤗💞
I only had one child. But I remember the day in my life. I babysit in order to stay home with my daughter. This video caused to to think back on those days. Thanks for sharing.
This was so fun Jessica. Wow! Such beautiful babies. They all look like Adam. His long hair was so different. Please show more. I'd love to see them all.
This is awesome! It's like your reliving your life 10 years later as the younger kids look identical to the older ones. You seem to have not aged at all either. Love this video! Adam with a mullet is priceless. Thanks so much for sharing!
Oh my goodness! Yes, you will treasure the drawings grand babies make for you! I (Babica-gmom in Slovene) even have them on bathroom mirrors! They bring me joy each day. Ps don’t forget to date them! ( but you have awhile yet!) Thx for the throwback video!☺️
What a trip down memory lane! Reminded me of mine 10 years ago (my kids are about the same ages as your older kids).. Can relate to the challenge of being more mentally and emotionally drained with older kids! I look at our pictures and videos from that time and the house looks like a tornado went through it.. so was nice seeing you were in the same situation too!
I loved this video! I have three kids three and under. It is very overwhelming for me and I really struggle to keep my cool, especially when the older two do not listen.
The not listening thing is the toughest for me too, and I've never had more than 2 that were ages 3 and under, because my 6 are all between 2-3 years apart, so I can't imagine. I think the best advice I was ever given was to enjoy my children every day, even on the hard days. That was given to me by a fellow shopper when I was at the grocery store with a newborn and his older 4 siblings at the time. I've tried to keep that in mind, especially on the hard days. God bless you and lend you His strength and grace as you raise those precious little blessings 💖
I loved watching this! What a blessing to have these clips! It's funny, I came from a family of 8, with 8 yrs between the older 4 and younger 4. Same parents except the oldest. Sadly, it was a very dysfuncional home. But thankfully I invited the Lord into my life in my 20's and though not perfect we raised our children more peacefully and intentionally!
This one brought tears to my eyes. We have a lot in common and a lot of what you said hits home with me. Especially “you don’t have 8 children unless you enjoy a challenge.” 🤣 We have 8 children as well, 6 and then 2, split by a 4 year gap. We have moved twice, but recently went down to a house 1/3 the size, so I understand what you kept saying about so much space. I love it here though. We are so blessed to have this time with our children. 💗
I will always welcome any footage you are happy to share. You help me so much in ways you’ll never know. Blessings for you and your loved ones. 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺 & 🐶Omega the Cavalier🐶
Beautiful video. OMG, I thought Gabe was going out the door for work instead of Adam. 😂 Your family was equally as beautiful ten years ago as it is now!!! God bless.....
What a blessing to have that footage! I wish I had recorded more videos when my 6 were little. Those days were such a blur with all that goes into homeschooling and raising littles. Thank you for sharing this sweet video:)
Oh my goodness, that was so fun seeing the bigger four when they were little. And it blew my mind at the beginning when Adam is kissing Elizabeth bye, I thought wait a minute, that's Gabe! lol! It's amazing how much he looks like his Daddy. And then Levi looks so much like Gabe or maybe it's John that looks like Gabe. I need to see his 5 yr pic with those two. Anyway, thank you for taking us back with you. I know you're so thankful for having found that old clip. God bless!!
OH MY GOSH! That first clip of Gabe looks just like LEVI!!!!! Not so much as the video moved along but in that first clip - my gosh! =) Thank you for sharing this Jessica!!! Loved seeing the past!
This was such a blessing for me to watch!! This is currently my season - four kids five and under, with a house that's all messy and gets picked up on Saturday and calls to Papa throughout the day. Thank you for sharing!
I would love to see more of your posts from the archives. Will be very interesting to see how much you and the children have grown and learned over the years.
So fun to see this ♥️ We’ve always danced in the kitchen and it’s one of my daughter’s favorite things with her kids. Simple pleasure and great memories
I had 3 4 and under and homeschooled, this was very much what my life looked like. I am now remarried and have a 1 year old with my 14, 12 and 10 year old. I love having big helpers now. I'm starting to do more canning and gardening and my big kids are opting to have their own garden space.
