Finding time is maybe the most difficult part of game dev when working a full time job, but daily routine to spend even the smallest amount of time working on what you love can keep you motivating long time and help you finish your projects. Best of luck for the what's coming next !

You are doing the same as me. A full time job (I work as a business development manager in an IT consultancy company) and a part-time job working on my indie game called Finnish Army Simulator. My game is releasing to Early Access on Steam in Q4 / 2022 and currently has a bit over 12k wishlisters!

Thank you for sharing. That is absolutely relatable and pretty much resembles my experience with game dev (and a little bit of RU-vid) while working full time. But I try to not stress it and primarily have fun. And if I can play my games with friends, it really rewarding. Keep up the great work. I like the style of your videos and am pretty sure, if you keep going without burning out, this game will be a lot of fun. I subscribed, so I can keep track of you progress ;)

I liked to make video projects for fun. And I make myself complete one bigger edit projects once a week even if I don't plan on uploading.

I just started an apprenticeship and oh boy, it's hard putting in extra hours after you get home or sacrificing your weekend time. Currently fighting with blender every other day.

I was working on a 2d puzzle platformer game right after I graduated and I barely have touched it since I got a full time job. I had a lot of fun learning to make videos about it but everything just requires so much time I find it really slow getting anything done now. Scheduling your time seems like the best way to get around my problem though. Thanks for the reminder :^)

Everyone is so healthy and productive in there blogs, lol And than sleeping 4-6 hours a day, and loose overall health, brain and memory power couple month in (or years, if you are young).

I don’t know how you have the motivation to work on you game after work. For me, the last thing I feel like doing is coding when I get home. I usually work out, eat, then watch RU-vid or play guitar.

yeah definitely don't recommend mass gainers as it's always just a cheap blend, especially with supplements from optimum nutrition. protein powder is much better and you can just mix it with pb in a shake for more protein and just about the same calories

You need to step up your protein shake game so they don't taste terrible. Frozen strawberries, bananas, milk and unflavored protein in a blender is pretty good.
