A day in Oliva | possibly our worst EVER Menu del Dia? | expats Costa Blanca

Helen´s family first bought a property in Oliva over 40 years ago. We went back to the Costa Blanca North to see how things have changed. We also had a menu del dia at Moby Dicks. The restaurant has been there decades.
Our personal rec ommendation- even if it smells good, keep on walking.
It was possibly one of the worst menu del dia's we have had.
We had a look at the beach area, and up into the Old town area.

Loved and admired your video.......we are the owners of the house in San Roque Square with the arch windows. We love it......the atmosphere..... everything is just so different to anything in the UK......We appreciate your honest appraisal of the restaurant, We`ve only had coffee and ice cream there.... so best not to make a comparison. Before we purchased 2 San Lucia, we stayed several times at 25 San Francesco to try and get a feel for the town. Your memories and the fact that you`ve persuaded your family to revisit your chidhood memories was, we imagine quite emotional for you. God Bless to you.........as they say in Olive Old Town, Tranquil and Lament........you only live once.

I lived in terranova playa for 8 years and was always in oliva seeing your video reminded me of why i came back to uk

Nice honest account of the grub. Like you say some you win some you lose. A nice setting the town looked quaint. I'm sure those town houses are probably much larger inside than they look from the outside. Number 17 must hold some very happy memories. A great nostalgic outing.

Another great video guys 👍🏻 . That menu del dia did look poor but as Andy said you are going to come across that every now and again. Some trek up to number 17. Your grandparents must've been fit lol
