A video in the daytime in Patong, Thailand. I checked out of Ocean & Ole hotel and into Hemingways Silk. Then I went for a late lunch at Lucky 13 restaurant. After I went for a couple of beers on Bangla Road, before heading to Jungceylon mall and finally onto Soi Kep Sap to have a look at the 'dirty massage' street in Patong.

Nice to see you walking around this part of Patong, I stayed at the Crystal Beach Hotel for 2 weeks July/ August, hotel (Superior room) was great and ladies running it friendly (helps if you smile and be nice), loved the area with cool little bars all around, one straight across from the hotel with the pool tables was fun, I would thoroughly recommend this area 10 mins easy walk to Bangla, 150m walk down the street to the beach, restos and Mini-Mart/7-11 everywhere and O-Top bars/food market just across the road. I would stay again, no problem.

The good old Kangaroo Bar. I met an interesting Aussie in there one day. He was on his 14th Long Island tea so he wasn't very fluent but we still had a good bit of banter.

23:55 I concur. Coffee Club does indeed do good food and drinks. Western food (burgers especially) very good and the Thai food on offer also excellent but not cheap. I spent 1500 baht in one of their Bangkok locations a few weeks ago to burn leftover baht just prior to flying out. Well worth it.

I enjoy your videos since they give you a good feel for what life is like in certain areas of SE Asia. I particularly appreciated the toilet shot! When you visit these areas you seem to spend most of your time in hotels, bars, and urban areas. Aren't you just duplicating what you could get at home? I suppose the affordability has its attractions, but if I was going to Thailand I would want to be eating great Thai food and experiencing some of the culture. But to each his own. I hope to see some more interesting venues in future videos, but what you have done is certainly interesting. Thanks!

Not bad price on that SanDisk memory card it costs £99 here in UK. 100 GBP =4,381.39THB British Pound1 GBP = 43.8139 THE £ exchange rates are good at the moment too

Electronics are too expensive in Thailand. Exactly the same sd card cost bezweek 50 and 60 euro in the Netherlands. Really looking forward to come back to LOS in september

A Few years ago we just begun a day tour to checkout phi phi island, as our van was driving towards the pier from patong, we all noticed a young local fly pass us on a scooter without a helmet, no more than 3min later we came along a accident at a major intersection with that same guy who passed us up earlier, it was very disturbing to see a lifeless bodie with blood streaming from his eyes and ears. Don't be this guy, drive responsibly and always wear your helmet !!

I'm a big guy. 6'6" plus and 230 - 240 lbs. Usually 2X or 3X shirts and 36" sleeve 20" neck for dress shirts. Pants are 38W and 36L. Shoes size 16US. Would I be able to find these sizes in a large shopping mall or am I too big for Thailand? I know many places in Asia don't have Amazon deliveries can I order from Amazon and get it delivered in Thailand?

I know this street well. Lot's of budget hotels on it. The location is great with all of Patong's top attractions within walking distance and the food market next door rocks for cheap food and smoothies.

There's a lot more to Phuket than the areas near Patong. Travel out to the Chalong, Kata, Rawai and Nai Harn areas. They are far more relaxed and offer quieter bars, cafes and eateries. Especially in the day when you just want to chill and maybe do more sightseeing. The best places to eat aren't even in Patong in my opinion. Patong is definitely best for the night time activities though.

Nice video, i was there (for the last time) 5 years ago. Nothing has changed when i see the vid. Ladyboys are very aggressive. When you visit Phuket, ...visit Phuket town, also the big buddha is a must, 25 minutes with the scooter from Patong.

Next time try out Phoenix Grand Hotel.. its in the same street, the last one to the left. Good rooms really nice pool and cheap room price if you book advanced! I prefer to stay there..the view by the pool is just amazing with mountain views and all over Patong to the beach.. 🌴🌴🇹🇭🇹🇭
