I used to make soaps and lotions for years and sold them on the side but had to quit when my sister got sick with cancer. I promised her I would not leave her and I didn't. She passed after a year and half ,I don't regret it. I loved the craft very much but couldn't seem to get back into it. I am pushing 70 now and do a bit of quilting and gardening since then [just for enjoyment]. You need to hire a part time helper if you can afford it or you may just get burned out. Making soaps, lotions and other things is very hard work, especially the packaging and labeling part. I did it all by myself too. My brother helped run the shop on his days off. Happy that you are better and glad you had some help. Stay warm and hydrated. My goodness, your business is booming. I can understand the shipping part, for sure. We know you are very conscientious in your processes. I can imagine recovering from being sick, taking care of all of your animals, as well as the business. Enjoyed the packing. I don't advertise, either. I guess I just don't want to overwhelm myself. I am a small business and enjoy my craft. But I have taken over too much of my home, as it is. I figured out where I am. I just want to put most of my effort into my passion and pay for it, also. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 👍🤗

I enjoyed this immensely. I love all the busy creative work of business. The difficult part for me is pricing and paperwork. Dealing with bookwork and taxes is torture for me. If you have words of wisdom regarding those matters, I value your experience.

I ordered from you for Christmas. It was by far my favorite Christmas gift! Everything was so intricately packaged. Every product was heavenly. Been ordering you products for a little while now and like them very much. Was wondering have you ever thought of adding the Brazen Buffalo scent mixture (vetiver, cardamom, pepper) to the Bison tallow cream. I don't terribly mind the beefy smell the unscented version has (I don't really like the other scented oil versions), but I think the Brazen Buffalo scent would make for a good addition to the scent options you have, especially for guys.
