WHO AM I?
Hi, my name is Daniel Rodriguez and I am a freshman at the University of Miami. The purpose of this channel is to prove HOW YOU CAN ENJOY LIFE WHILE GOING TO SCHOOL. My channel mainly revolves around school and lifestyle videos. In these videos I talk and give advice on certain topics regarding not only college, but high school as well. In addition, I like to show my life through videos. I do personal vlogs where I show off my life and try to make it the best it can be. Lastly my channel also contains some of my travel experiences. Keep in mind that while I record all these videos, have fun in my vlogs, and explore the world, I am a student above all.
Enjoy this video as I take you around not only my life as a student, but around the U! UM is an amazing school which I am very happy to attend. This video is meant for prospective students that want an insight to what it really is like to be a student here at UM. Maybe you wonder how the campus looks like or how the dinning hall looks like. Regardless, this is my life at the University of Miami and I am happy to share it with you!

I went to university of Miami and graduated . Everyone has different experiences but I can definitely say i had a terrible experience. Kids where mean and mad cocky . Half the kids where like talking to robots . Couldn’t tell if they just didn’t want to talk or they where still recovering from whatever drug they took at LIV the night b4 . A bunch of cocky rich kids from up north .if I could do it again I would never even consider university of Miami . Campus is nice and teachers where cool but at least my class of people , I did not like . I’ve had many different jobs and been to many different schools and can honestly say University of Miami was the worst environment I had been in . Everyone has different experience tho. That’s was just my 3 years there .

Very enjoyable video. Looks like a good place to live in, though it must be tough to get work done when the days are so beautiful. At least being on the top floor, you get first dibs on the elevator in the morning. Otherwise, if you were on a lower floor, there might not be any room left by the time the elevator reaches your floor as 'everyone' is using it.

I'm a Costa Rican student, i studied 3 years in Lyon, france, and i know both educational systems, i do recommend Miami as a city, not the U, since i am an FIU alumni, but planning on transfering to the U, but floridians are very welcoming to foreigners :)

Good question! Here is the deal when I got accepted I knew I wanted to dorm mainly to meet knew people. My house is around ten minutes away from campus so I could of commuted if I wanted to. I have a couple of friends who do commute and they've told me that the first week it might be harder to make friends and meet people just because while everybody is in the dorms and doing things you are in your house. However, college changes and as classes go and time passes, people start becoming less social and focus more on themselves. So now that it is the end of the semester, there are times when I really miss my house and my amazing bed (the one in the dorms is really small). However, there are so many people i met here that if I was not in the dorms I would of never met. So it is a hard decision. I would say if you like to be social 24/7DORM. If you are more calm commute. Hope this helps!
