Yeah this is good to see man, especially because there aren’t that many PTs from the UK posting on RU-vid, so thanks for doing this. I’m a PT assistant based up north and I’m about to start the PT degree apprenticeship. I can’t wait to qualify! Interesting to see your perspective so please keep posting about your PT career!
@@Shayaankahn I was searching random physio vids on RU-vid 😂 I typed in physio London and your vid was one of the ones that came up Yes please more vids like these bro, it’s helpful to know what paths are out there after qualifying and like I said from a UK physio
I'm trying to become a PT assistant to gain the experience to do a degree or apprenticeship. Just wondering, did you have a biology A-level or some previous experience to get the assistant job? I'm finding it so hard to get a foot in the door!
Having spent 6 years working as a Physio in the UK I am leaving the profession. Criminally underpaid, even in private practice. Lack of accountability in the patients we see. Patients expecting miraculous results from some mobilisations and exercise. It's relentless and repetitive. I did one year in the community as a B5, it was soul destroying. Sit to stand and mobility practice with the elderly. It was very chilled, not intense at all. Been doing MSK 5 years now and I am honestly done with Physio lol. I wish you all the best Shayaan
100% Agree mate. That’s why I’m slowly drifting away from physio and building my business. And then I’ll only do physio here and there as a passion with no time restrictions lol! Thank you for the comment mate. More physio videos?
Ever thought about jumping ships to some better paid countries? Canada and Australia are a way better wage. NZ is in the exact same boat with the underpaid and undervalued situation.
First time watching a Day In The Life of A Physio Vlog, so interesting to see how other healthcare professionals work in the NHS 🙌🏽! Keep it up Shayaan 😇
Awesome video! I have a question, how much of a session you would say is attribute to massage? Because i think about going back to study in that field but the massage part really stop me , thanks in advance!

So it depends on how much experience you have but normally starting off with like 25-28k a year then can up to like 40-50k depending on your experience. So you can see the top isn’t much.
@@Shayaankahn can you suggest me course related to medical which I can do to do masters in Britain other than Medicine and Dental My priority right now is to earn money.
