Lots of aspects of the mob and his probationary/prospect time reminds me of a type of basic training. It's a hard life and were all killers. There's no jumping ahead of people. You get what you're given, when you're given it. If Michael was earning well and running bits and pieces, that automatically puts him ahead of a 20 year veteran, who just kills and collects, even if that person is level headed and efficient. An earner and a leader will always "jump the queue" because they bring more value.

I think a lot of people knew Oswald wasnt a lone gunman. The second bullitt that entered Kennedy's head came from the front. The movements of the body show it quite clearly

Shout from Yonkers Mike! Any chance you could do some sort of video about *“Wild” Bill Cutolo??* He seemed like an old school gangster with charisma! Was it revenge for the early 90’s war? Or likely they were worried he’d get too much power?! Would be cool thanks! 😎✌️🙏

They were scared wild bill was becoming too strong n they thought he was going too make the next move n try too take over ! Cus wild bill was on the Vic side , I don’t think he would did it tho, they say wen wild bill walked into the house he was suppose too meet Persicos son he asked where’s alley ? N they popped him in the head , wen he got hit they said he screamed out whoaa ! Krazy man
@jimmymcgill8412
@jimmymcgill8412 2 года назад
Two reasons: He sided with Vic in the Colombo Family war of the early-1990s and he was strong with a big crew. The Persicos were worried about what would happen while Junior and Allie Boy were both locked up...concerned that Wild Bill would try to take over the Family, especially given his disloyalty in the past.

@@1995abv yeah. When they were running NYC they drove up prices for every single person in the city by scheming on construction, trucking etc. Kill and rob. Usurious loans with crippling interest rates. They didn't do "so called bad things" they did evil things. Just because Godfather etc portrays them as honorable doesn't mean that is the reality.

I’d like very much to see a new video that compares things of “the life” in the Mafia from The Godfather era to today’s world. Basics never change. Still have to have money, political connections, protection, etc. to run things. I would think. Great example is Las Vegas from the heyday from when it was controlled by the private entrepreneurs VS today’s corporate ownership. I can tell you that back then Old Vegas was exciting and glitzy and fun and today Vegas seems to be an amusement park. Lotta lights and bells and whistles. Nerve racking. The class of Old Vegas is gone. Used to be to get into a nice restaurant you had to dress appropriately. Today it seems like it’s just a money grab, and wear flip flops and cut offs - it’s fine. Class isn’t in the menu. So that’s just an example. I think there’s a real question asked about how income is generated VS how it was done in the early days leading up to the “computer age”. How do things work now as opposed to the Old Days? What has changed? What core issues will never change? I enjoy your videos very much.

Very moving to see you from being involved in the mob, and more importantly now being a Christian. I found out years ago that my family has an infamous member. My name is Douglas Persigo Goncalves, my fathers side is all Portuguese and my mother’s side is all Italian. My grandmother’s maiden name was Ana Cuccio. Her uncle was Lucky Luciano. I always think if there are any distant family members still involved. If so, I pray that they have the same turnaround as you did.
