So sorry your experience in the Army was not a good one. I spent 22 years in the Army and had a blast and can’t wait for my grandkids to attend this school.
@@picsbymrmo nice. It wasn't that bad. Just a little over the top with dumb shit. Overall a good 3 years. Something I don't regret doing but wouldn't do it again.
Just so that you all know, those who go to military school aren't all troubled. In fact, most actually go to military school just to strengthen their self-discipline.
Valley Forge Military Academy Alumnus. I recognize all of it. What a brilliant experience. Cheers to my brothers in the Long Grey LIne from whichever military school you attended. “For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don’t understand, no explanation is possible.”
Damn. That's definitely quite a schedule and I'm sure people come out of there all the better for it, but my high school homework always took far more than 2hrs... How do y'all get your homework done in that short amount of time? Also, do they offer financial assistance or scholarships for those who would love to attend but may not necessarily have the family financials to pay for it?
Yes, our cadets have a busy life and they do manage to do their studies during CQ. If that time is not enough, they can request additional time to complete their work. And yes, financial assistance is available.
If you are in hard classes you don’t get your homework done in time. It is just called you have to work through that last time before bed. And you can request late lights to stay up and get work done.
No. This video is to show what goes on during a regular school day. Cadets have mostly free time after school on Friday's until Sunday night when they need to get back to studying. They do attend a parade on Sunday around noon on falls and spring (but that does not take longer than 45 minutes).
20yrs hasn't changed much. Good old days of Sgrt Click trying to get me out bed n wasn't happening. Black stripper constant. Probably still have the record for longest run of detention their 3yrs straight.
Not really. Elementary military type school beforehand did well high school more issues with fams. Turn out same for school 1/10 price. Still good times besides my detention status my whole time there.
@@tyler4x612 Culver is great, real strong academics program there, the military stuff is to the minimum, marching morning formations, and in warm seasons parades on Sundays for parents. Overall I had a great experience over there.
Not, but most kids play video games from their own rooms in their computers and every unit have a unit lounge where kids play video games and watch movies on weekends. Our unit lounge for example has a large screen and a large TV for people to do both simultaneously.
Well with what camilo said you have to pass middle school. Im assuming that its a JROTC program but modified. Like the Marine Military Academy (MMA). A military school if you will.
@@axpro1118 CMA dispensed with JROTC decades ago (not even an option to take) - replaced with leadership/positive psychology. But #1 hs in the nation to get kids into service academies.
@@picsbymrmo Can I know know more information about the female education and the interactions between the two genders? Also if the boys and girls learn in the same place, why HMA marketed as an all boys school?
@@a_true_dreamer4860 Boys and girls attend classes together but have separate living areas. We never advertise as a separate gender school. I work on the boys side so my videos are focused on my boys. To learn more about the girls, I suggest you contact the admissions department. Good luck.
@@picsbymrmo I apologise. I was thinking of a completely different school. For some reason, I had Hargrave Military Academy in mind and didn't play close attention to the beginning. My b. Thanks for the information though!
