In this video we're going to show you a typical day of our baby, Basha the Chow Chow. We also include some quick training tips on how we have taught her some tricks like high five and by using treats as well. #chowchow
Aww 15 years, thats great. Sure your Chow was a very happy one 😀 and you’ve done a great job looking after him/her 🦁 😀 Thank you for the feedback regarding being organised and all that 😀take care!
she’s such a sweet dog 🥺 and you’re a lovely owner ❤️ but I hope you’ve gotten tested for allergies because chow chows are predisposed to be allergic to chicken and I noticed the wet dog food you showed suggested it contained chicken
She’s beautiful she reminds me of my cinnamon child her name was dozer because when she was a little pup she would dive right into her bowl can’t wait to get another one
I just bought one and im getting it tomorrow and it’ll be my first dog, i’ve heard some of them dont go along with strangers lol and im kinda afraid of that cuz me n dogs dont go well together, its 1 and a half years old, but if it’s friendly just like urs then thats what i really want, urs seems very friendly n i hope mine will be the same 😅
congratulations on your first dog welz!! they are amazing! Chows are aggressive by nature as they used to be guard dogs in the past but if you expose it to a lot of people and dogs then they get used to it ❤ our basha is overly friendly and loves strangers! they can be suspicious at first so always let the stragers get their hands sniffed first before they get too cozy with your chow ❤ all the best!!!
A chow is not a good “first dog”. But hopefully you’ve done your research and know what you can expect and that you’re committed to providing them with what they need . Best of luck
my chow is 9 had him since he was a puppy when he doesn't want to do something he will run up to you like he wants you to rub his snout and blow air out of his nose 4/10 times snot rocket
I am a bit surprised your Chow does NOT sleep in your room. Mine doe and HAS TO. He will NOT sleep anywhere else and always sleep with him back to us so he is guarding us.
You have beautiful chow 🥰 I fall in love with then since i saw and knew about them. Have question it is hard to take care of them , as brushing and season of shedding the their coat ? Also do they like to keep them outdoor ? Or they must stay indoor ?
Hi and thanks :) as for your question, not at all its easy to maintain them. They usually shed twice a year. Our chow is an indoor dog, but it should’nt be a problem if you wish to keep them outdoor. Cheers
Do you have any tips for grooming the hair and puppy training? planing on getting my own fluff ball and my adopted dog needs a friend plus am abit worried about my cats 😂 but hope they’ll all just cuddle in a massive bed
Just brush regularly and she'll be alright 😄 we took her to puppy school early on and it really helped socialise her. Good luck and all the best! sure they will all get along
Hi Mahjong Live Streaming! yes we live in Melbourne 😀 and We got her through a breeder. As for arthritis, unfortunately from experience it seems common. It is manageable though and we do give her supplements and they really help. Also a balanced diet is helpful too
Hi there! They do shed a lot about 2-3x a year usually when seasons change. But having her was the best thing that ever happened to us :) chows are very independent and is really low maintenance ❤
@@Aidenplaysvr671 oh my goodness 😊😊😊 im so happy for u and ur new fluffball!!! we just use any brush that can detangle the fur. No brand in particular... ❤ congratulations on ur chow!!!
I was thinking about buying a chow chow. ill be home most the time, however I live in a quite small house with back garden would you say this is suitable for this breed? temperament wise??
Hi! Chows are very lazy 😄 so a small backyard is fine. It depends on their line and training, but generally, they have a good temperament. You have to establish that you are boss from the start. They can be very stubborn but a very loyal breed.
I swear my shiba is more like your dog. Mine lays about, is chunkier than her sister (not from the same litter) and looks like a little bear. She also has some black on her tongue and snorts. I can hear her snoring now.
Lol....one hot summer night mine was outside my window sleeping as he liked to do in the summer...his snoring was so loud it woke me up inside the house...the bedroom window was open tho
you have to read a lot about the breed that you are getting whatever they may be... chows are very independent and requires u to be so firm so they'll know who is boss ❤ it is hard to tell if this will be the right breed for u as every person is different... goodluck if u decide to get a chow furbaby! ❤ ur life will never be the same 😍
