It's kind of tradition which have meanings in our tradition ... This is how we worship in India from centuries ... To go deep inside India you have to be become open minded .... Hindusism or santan dharma is kind of natural belief system which involves worship of nature,, and every creatures that is on the earth to pay our gratitude towards them to serving us ... That's why we worship trees,, animals ,, sun,,moon everything ... And there are so many different schools of thoughts ... Everyone is free to do their devotion according to them .... It's basically civilizational culture or religion ... If you go towards history you will found that mostly native religions had their own culture and traditions... But history also shows us that how natives are being destroyed by rigid ideas ... And people were started living like in more organized way and basically it's kills diversity .... But it's also a fact that every human being is not think in same ways .... We dnt puts do or Don't on everybody ... So it's basically kills the nativeness or diversity .... Obviously now we people understands importance of diversity ... But in that time people started imposes their ideas on others .... So it's kill many civilizations or Diversity in the world .... Some how we Indians manage to survive that attacks because our ancestors are smart enough to save our cultures and civilization ... Obviously due to that attacks we also had some. Damages but still we are managing those things ... India was a developed society at that time in terms of economy and intellectual aspects ... In my Personal opinions that's why we manage to survive but people are still busy to defame us ... As if you see media on west you will hardly find some positive things about our culture or country ... But it's also a fact India is doing well to recovering from their past damages ... You can see through it's economy ... Even if you see Any hindu in your country they are hard working ,,, are busy in their work ... You hardly gonna find any hindu who is harming anybody to people of another country .... Obviously there are some acceptionals also but We Hindus respects everyone and we respects sovereignty of a country ... And please remember not. Every brown people are hindu , sikh, budh or jain .... If you analyse their life style ... They are always busy with their work... And they even helping others too ... Temples and gurudwaras are serving food for Everyone ... Who need it ... And They are not interested to convert others from their religion or beliefs ... Even eskon temples are doing well helping everybody by their work ... And they dnt go for anybody to convert. To hinduism ... They just want to introduce others about their ideas which is neglecting by people from centuries ... And trying to change people's prospective towards hinduism .... That it .... Its really to be stone-hearted for parents to leave their child in Gurukula for Vedanta studies....but believe me students from all over the world Ukraine Taiwan Dubai USA China Holland Spain Indonasia Japan and many more countries are here in ISKCON Mayapur Gurukula to build their career....and believe me who ever passes out from here from Gurukula becomes World leader like Swami Vivekananda...here the aim of studies is not to earn 5 figure salary and get a job.....but to rule world thru vedic knowledge....the students r trained in such a way that they can face any any difficult situations with a smiling face and come out of it with flying colors....they will never depend on anyone for help....THE TEMPLE OF VEDIC PLANETARIUM IS ALSO BEING BUILT THERE....WORLD'S LARGEST TEMPLE...ALSO KNOWN AS THE CHANDRODAYA TEMPLE...
