Got an interview today. I work for Spark and man I hate carrying those 32 to 40 bottle case if water. Especially up three floor apts. But I love doing delivery as oppose to sitting in a office for 8 to 9 hrs a day.
Congratulations! You won’t have to worry about those large cases of water anymore. I believe Kroger’s is 24 packs. But people order a LOT of pop so that’s gonna replace the 40 case lol
I did the phone interview and passed it. This was on 10-4 got the email about being set up for an interview. How long does it take typically? Im in Bama too, thought I heard Birmingham, lol.
Sorry, didn’t see your comment, it may take a few weeks to start depending on how long your background check and physical take to come back. Did you end up starting? And yep it’s Birmingham lol
I’ve heard it’s usually around 15-18, but some days you can have as little as 4 (far drive times and very light day) or a little over 20. Apply though bro even the busy days are cake. Whatever other job you’ve done delivery wise this is 100x easier 🤣 starting pay varies but I’ve also heard .50 cent raises every 6 months for 3 years and since they are still opening more centers across the US it will be easy to move up if that’s what you want to do too.
This looks fun! I worked for Kroger for 16yrs and left the company right before they officially opened the fulfillment centers for operation. If I would have stayed I definitely would have went after this position, I was already a lead in Clicklist before I left.
@@Southernfriedeggs when you work in store and shop the online pickup orders. Same thing your doing except customers are coming to the store to pick up the order and Kroger associates are actually shopping the order instead of robots.
@@1TeamTaboo I see them shopping when I’m doing Instacart. Walmart does it too. I start orientation for Kroger Delivery Driver on Oct 30th. I’m super excited and the pay is nice.
Not tiring at all. We have a lot of older men and women working here and none have mentioned the job being tiring. If anything, I’m tired from getting up so early after staying up late which is majority of the time lol
Had so much going on still haven’t had time to make the video lol they ask if you’ve ever driven a box truck before. What’s the best way to be alert while driving. Is your schedule flexible. Etc..
@@Southernfriedeggs is 8 hour job? I see above sometimes is only 4 deliveries. If the delivery finish early what happens or no delivery one day. That is means no work for the driver this day. Or less pay
I work at Amazon now but want to shift over .Do you park the trucks at the warehouse after you’re done? (Reverse parking),and what range does the paycheck usually be?
Yep you do park them and do reverse park so long as they’re not loading other trucks. Pay varies state to state but what I’ve seen is $18-$22 an hour. Benefits are very affordable but some complain about the amount of coverage.
We will if the customer asks for it. We have a lot of customers in wheelchairs or they’re elderly or they just don’t feel like bringing their groceries in the house lol most of us don’t mind the extra step.
Easiest way is going on indeed and typing in Kroger. It should say customer service delivery driver or Kroger delivery driver. Then you can apply through the Kroger website.
@@Southernfriedeggshow long did it take for you to get hired/for your background check to clear? It’s been two weeks and I still haven’t heard anything back
