I have been working in the ABA field as a behavioral specialist for a year now clients with autism and other learning disabilities (don’t like the term disabilities) but yeah. However, I am looking into going to school for OT. I am now doing research but ABA has helped me discover OT and how much I love teaching my clients basic living skills. Thank you for sharing all the knowledge you have.

But decided to stick with nursing yet I’ve still been having those thoughts of “What if??” Because honestly, the more closer of a scope to the kids the better! And I’m starting to feel like Ped. OT would give me that happiness I’m looking for. (No offense to Nursing 😅)

Hey girlie. Do you ever work with RT (Recreational Therapist) or vice versa? I graduated in RT in 2018 & I often found that a lot of things RT does *kind of* correlates with OT. Mostly in the leisure and recreation area. Ik that OTs focus is to increase ADL while RT helps to improve daily life as well as community involvement, but while I was doing internship, I would wonder why don’t OTs and RTs work together at times (I love working in teams lol) or at least come together when working with patients. Not saying this doesn’t happen, but I’m just curious from your perspective. I hope I’m making sense lol

Hey, I'm from Germany and in my first year as an OT apprentice. I would like to know why you use these dressing boards when you could practice with them on the zippers on their jackets or the laces on their own shoes? Wouldn't it make more sense for them doing it like everybody else instead of a complete different angle?

just curious , are you working on a fee for service? When i was in peds i would not get paid if a kid was absent or for documentation time.

I fail to understand why you felt the need to read the the text journal, then give your own interpretation strange one. Your natural interpretation was fine.

We all owe a debt from the most high God for our sin and that is death and death leads to hell(Romans 6:23). So we all deserve hell for our sin. The only way to heaven is to be perfect and nobody on this earth is perfect, but 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ came down from heaven in human form lived to perfection and died for our sins, took the keys of death and rose again to show that he defeated the grave so when he died for us he took the sins of the whole world into himself so that we can be made clean (2 Corinthians 5:21), if we accept him as our savior we can be made clean, whole, new, born again, and redeemed, we must repent from our sin and turn to Jesus.
