I’ve been in the nursing field for 15 years (5 years as a CNA and 10 years as an RN)... your organization skills will be perfect for nursing. Your days consist of multitasking things to check off your lists (charting assessments, lots of meds, wound changes, etc) and being able to already do that is honestly half the battle. Good luck!

I always love these productive vlogs especially as I have deadline on the 11th for university, also I related to the washing your door handles etc I do that too everytime I’m back home from a food shop😂 Also what was in those tacos apart from sweet potato and avocado they looked so good

That's going to feel so good when you get that done! I put onion and sweet potatoes together and then I massed the avocado + a bit of greek yogurt and some garlic then topped it with salsa :)

Btw if you have cotton pillowcases you might want to try a silk pillowcase, tbh they're pretty expensive but they're good for your skin and hair so honestly its not a bad investment

I grew up with Thai food because my parents used to travel around Asia a lot and my mom loved the food so started collecting recipes during their travels :) When getting takeout I usually get pad kaprao, at my local thai place they call it holy basil chicken. It’s minced chicken in a spicy sauce with thai basil leaves and it’s the best!!!

Yay, I do love a good day in the life video. Also, why have I never heard of the term Zillennial?! Love this, I feel like a lot of people can relate. I just joined your Live Q&A on Insta but I was right at the end as I've just woken up (it is currently 7.30am in the UK), but you mentioned that where you are is kinda on lockdown at the mo? I always get Pad Thaï, kinda basic lol. Also can you make a video of you ski coaching (if permitted) and show exactly what's in your ski bag? I'm interested in anything tbh, but ski stuff just makes me so happy. Even if you filmed a 10 min video of you skiing alone or with friends or whatever. Also, I love how organized and productive you are. You are a few years younger than me, but I look up to you so much and admire your work ethics and values.

I cant recommend enough to just work at any local nursing home. Im also located in Oregon, and there's many nursing homes around. Not only do you get experience with that but nurses coming in and out of the facilities get to know you and you gain so many good references you can put in resumes

This is so true! Although I only worked 80hrs for my clinical, I learned SO much & saw the true need that this facilities have for some good skilled CNAs!

Have you thought about becoming a Radiologic Technologist? It is a really fulfilling career if you don’t go the Nursing program route. I think you will be able to make it into a program, it just might take a couple of tries. Nothing wrong with that PS: That Thai soup is the best! 😍

For the roku - turn your TV on first before going right into your roku. when the tv is off, WiFi is disconnected, so it just needs a second to connect.

Tom kha soup w/chicken, phad thai w/chicken, prawn fried rice add broccoli, crab cheese wontons. Obviously there are a lot of leftovers which I enjoy having for breakfast, lunch & dinner the next day(s). P.S. "no spicey" as I'm a wimp.

If you don’t get in don’t stress. Start an AIN course then start working in that position while you study. This will allow you to be paid while studying and the course is easy. Then with more confidence and experience, apply again. I’m an AIN studying first yr medicine so I don’t intend to go for RN. But this process does work.
