Ur basically living my dream hehe. Im in my early teen yrs and i really want to go to columbia law school then become a hotshot lawyer (😂😂😂). Im really inspired by u and very impressed. Keep it up!
Loved this vid, Sam! Has it been easier to rack up more billable hours now that you’re WFH? I imagine having an 8 am start time would be difficult if you had to commute to the office.
Great job on the vlog style video. Your discipline to sticking to your schedule is amazing. I’m inspired counselor. As a fellow attorney gives me hope that I can pack it all in lol
Surprising to see that your law firm allows you to connect to public WiFis. I just started working at a big healthcare company and they had a TON of onboarding videos/online training about the dangers of logging into public WiFis on the company/work laptop. I'm in Europe, so it might be different over there in the US.
You'e not going to be able to view what the work is substantively like from day in the life videos. You will find routines, hours worked, etc. That information is strictly confidently while you are counsel to a client and after. If you are seeking understanding of the work in my practice group generally, there are videos on the channel but, for the most part, they are not structured in a Day in the Life format.
For example, here is a video on drafting a sample document as a junior associate. It is is no way connected to my actual clients. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mITNnCNiMq4.html
Thank You! Def not 9-5. On average, I'd say I finish working at around 11:15/11:30; sometimes earlier (like in this video), sometimes a lot later (like in the week in the life).
These videos are more geared towards work life balance and walking through one’s schedule. Big law tends to be entirely too confidential to disclose substantive assignments and processes.
@@Sistersinlaw ok. Anohter question. Why do corporate lawyers start at 9:30? It is so late.... I watched another youtuber, same thing. Most of my productivity is early morning. 9:30, that is almost lunchtime already.
