You know aaronpresents you do realize that logo is from Rick and morty the very third cartoon inspired by ren and stimpy created by John k this spiritual peace of yogi bear on crack is also made by John k kool haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa as for what your speaking I guess it's just supposed to be comedy/humor
This cartoon captures a lot of the underrated humor ranger smith contributed for the original show. Being a figure of authority in a land of hat wearing cartoon animals. As well as how it took a long time to get his character design down. You'll watch one episode and he's randomly fat and wearing a white suit lol.
@@TheErikM Smith is a last name so it could be possible that several brothers all work as park rangers. That way they are all ranger Smith, but don't look identical because they are not twins.
I love how much they reference Ranger Smith's design changes in this. He really payed homage to the original alright. And his style is unforgettable as always.
I cant believe they aired this shit in the regular kids hours here in south america. The memories just came rushing to my mind like a sucker punch after watching this lmao
@@williamandersen8403 No it didn't. It aired on [Adult Swim] and that was it. And it didn't run very long either. I managed to catch it maybe once or twice and that was it.
They aired on [AS] in the US but were rated low enough that it could've aired on regular CN. But the surreal and somewhat disturbing style definitely warranted it being aired how it was here
6:28 I'm just going to assume that Ranger Smith literally grabbed and fed those two critters to the owls, which explains how messed up he looked after turning the light back on. 😂😂😂
Then I prefer he get another job( in stimpson J cat voice) then Yogi 🐻(andbooboo) would get as much piceenic baskets as he wants😁😁😁😁😁heeheeheeheeheeheeheehee
What is great about these cartoons is that it bridges the gap between when we were kids watching the show to being adults and still getting a kick out of Yogi Bear! I wish a lot more old cartoons would get this treatment.
I didn't know that I remembered this. I saw the scene where he's looking at the soggy cereal and milk and it jogged my memory instantly. I had forgotten that this existed a long time ago.
I like how throughout this short, they made fun of how Ranger Smith’s designs changed so often in the classic cartoons by doing the same as the short continues.
Kind of. It's some of the people that worked on Ren and Stimpy. John Kricfalusi (John K.) Directed and wrote this, but I don't think Bob Camp worked on this though.
Yogi 🐻 Bear & his little buddy, Boo Boo’s cameo guest star appearance @ 5:44-6:14 and they have only 1 line each in this cartoon @ 5:53-6:01 Happy anniversary to Yogi Bear, Boo Boo & Ranger Smith!
I don't remember so much this episode...but something that i remember are those 3 squirrels... That female squirrel with a male voice...ugh.... Freaked me when i was a kid
If you noticed during the scene in which Ranger Smith is eating the cereal the spoon is being used the same way as the pipe was in Ren & Stimpy as a substitute for the mouth
Also, this is one of 5 cartoon Hanna-Barbera & Cartoon Network did for Spumco Studios & 1 of 3 Yogi Bear Spinoff cartoons that don’t star Yogi though he and his little bear buddy, Boo Boo (voiced by John K. & Greg Burgeon in this and “Boo Boo Runs Wild” @5:53-6:01) does indeed makes a special guest cameo appearance taking a shower in the locker room @ 5:45-6:14 and 1 of 2 cartoons starring Yogi & Boo Boo’s best forest Ranger friend, John Francis “Jughead” Smith
@@jamieimai9328 Yogi was voiced by Stephen Worth in Boo Boo Runs Wild and Boo Boo and the Man. John Kricfalusi voiced Boo Boo in all three Spumco shorts, and Ranger Smith was voiced by Corey Burton
Ranger gord from the red green show sat in a fire watch tower alone and was lonely and is a tad crazy from being alone, ranger smith has it better far better off than he realizes
@@jaydtuareagibsonchannelcar8313 Yes, and yet again, where does it say anywhere in this specific cartoon that it was made by Hanna-Barbera? It was made by Spumco. And no, I'm not talking about Yogi Bear as a cartoon character, I'm talking about this specific cartoon.
he likely brought them back to his cabin for some fun to break up the tear-inducing monotony of his "waking up every morning at 4:00 in an empty shack in the woods" life
