You guys clearly don't lie when you say how busy you are. From the constant excrement-cleaning to sleep deprivation (all while raising a child), you two have an unimaginable level of patience. It was a treat for me to see an average day for you guys, I wouldn't have any energy to film myself that early in the morning. Thank you for all you do!
@@carloz1536 the average person works 40 hours a week not 80 hours a week. 80 hours a week is what top CEOs work. You suggested that he works 160 hours a week when there are only 168 hours in a week. Even slaves don't work 160 hours a week.
I could never thank them enough for their dedication to the animals. I had a vague idea of how much they had to do on an average day, but seeing all of this makes it all the more impressive.
I had a young fox that was still a Puppy. He came to my mobile home every night & l had food for him. At night he would sleep under my deck. I had alot of hay for him to keep warm. I was so lucky that l could pet him & he liked playing, he liked belly rubs. I love it when he made that squeaky noice so cute. He stayed for 7 months then one day he never came back. I hope he found a mate. Fox are amazing animals, so soft & l love them so much..
The sheer volume of chores to do must seem overwhelming. I admire you two so much for all you do, and do with such love. I wish you great good health as you have to manage on so little sleep ❤❤❤
They really need more volunteers, so they can get more sleep. People are usually really willing to help w/ this type of thing. Humane societies often have a waiting list of volunteers, esp. for dog walking. Maybe they just need to get awareness out more. It's amazing what you don't think of when you're so busy and sleep deprived.
In this world of scary news I turn on Saveafox and relax and see what a wonderful job you are all doing. Your daughter is very smart. Be sure she goes to the best school with a smart schoolboard. Leo and Fluffy are still my best buds.
Mikayla, I am very glad that you have some one as awesome as Ethan in your life. When you feel frustrated at him (and we all get that way), stop and remember what life was like before Ethan and Freya. This is a lesson I am still learning myself with my husband. Although I am much older than you, I've only been married 8 years. God blessed me and my Mom with John, my husband. Mom bragged to everyone how wonderful John is and how much she loved him. Mom died in 2017 and that loss has been taking a great deal out of me. I have severe depression-not many men would look at me as worthwhile wife matterial. But John does. This is how I think Ethan is with you. With all that goes into running a very large rescue, he does everything he can to help. Cherish him for that. Ethan, if you learn nothing else in life, learn this. Pick your battles. And remember life without Mikayla. I see no conflict in this video, but when people get over tired, little things can become big things. I do so want to visit. I am mobility impared. I can walk, but not far. I can stand, but not for long. Just drop me in a yard with some animal that need enrichment. After years of raising, watching, and caring for all different animals, I've learned tricks. God bless you all there. If I wasn't in Texas, I would defintately move to volunteer at SaveAFox.
Thanks for telling a bit of your story. I can relate. I have pain and fatigue disabilities, as well as depression too. I'm starting out again later in life and it's demoralizing. There's always the right person for us, that will see our worth and our loving kindness, and past our limitations.
@@saintejeannedarc9460 And isn't it wonderful when you can find someone who cares. I'm sorry that you have pain, depression, and fatigue. I wish that you didn't have this, but I believe that God will give us the strength to handle these issues. And by having these problems, we can help others. We understand because we live it, too. God bless you.
I can literally *feel* the exhaustion after watching this video. I can only admire your strength to do this every day, I hope it's as rewarding as it is draining!
We can definitely see how rewarding it is, and how much they love doing it. They are both so cheerful and good natured. The animals really keep them going and give them so many smiles and so much love. I just hope burn out doesn't set in. That can sneak up. I did see one video where they'd been away for quite awhile and the house animals were so excited to see them. I hope that refreshed them well.
This life you’ve created is hectic and random but filled with SO MUCH LOVE and GRATITUDE. Your beautiful family is blessed to serve in such a way to animals and the animals are BLESSED to have YOU. ❤
Nice seeing all the amazing animals snd their amazing personalities.🥰🦊 Thank you for the amazing content and for taking care of these lovely animals and giving them a life they otherwise wouldn't have.🦊❤️ I wish you the best.🤗❤️ Bless you and take care.🙏❤️
The symbiosis of all the animals and their human mum and dad, is incredible. Then there's Freya... already totally chilled with all the animal gang. Lovely account of an "average" day, thank you for sharing!
Well I knew how busy your days and nights were...but this. And now I need a mid-mornng nap after watching this. God bless the two of you, Freya, all the animals and all the folks that help you. Yours is a home full of love and sweetness.
It takes special people with pure hearts and a huge love for animals to dedicate they lives to rescue and save. And you simply do this daily. Kudos ❤. And love the fox thanks to watching your footages. I have to say the grey/ black fox is absolutely gorgeous. ❤
So much respect for what you and Ethan do. Especially when short staffed and having a kid to juggle on top of everything! Wow! I hope your animal care taker heals up quickly and can help you guys out again soon. You guys' are truly dedicated to your work and that makes my heart so happy. Thank you guys for all you do. From all the work, to sleepless nights. Thank you.
Thank u guys for sharing! Freya is So Adorable 🥰 It's like she lives in her very own personal little zoo. One day, she's gonna be running that place. Many Blessings to u guys! Beautiful little family! ❤️
Im just appalled with how much energy you two have to take care of all these animals. Especially with a baby. And Fawzi. I would be constantly exhausted
All I can say is, it's good you guys are young and energetic. But I'm not sure I could have done all that even in the day. God bless you both. Freya is precious.
This is SUCH a good video!! Funny and Informative and just lets us all know how amazing you all are!!! And OMG that Jackal call!! a few zits is WORTH IT!! Love your Jackels!
I just found your channel …. Wow! When do you sleep? I’m exhausted just watching you guys. I know you are missing some people but even for a day is too much. Kudos to you for sheltering these sweet animals. ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks! You guys freaking rock. I don't ever donate to anything but after I saw what you do and then saw a fur farm. I Never even heard of a fur farm before. Just disgusting. But thank you. God bless your amazing hearts.
Waaaaaiiiit a minute... was that Felix the tree fox? On the GROUND? Like, whaaa? Also, Dixie needs to pass her award for 'Most Beautiful Eyes' on to Felix.
I hope you two can get more staff and help, it's so much work and now you got a child to take care of too! It's wonderful that you take care of all these animals but you deserve proper rest as well! ❤
It really does take a village! You're all awesome. Not 1 of the animals want for anything. Thank you for all that you do. You are heroes, and I want to visit everyone ❤❤❤
I’m amazed by the work you do ❤ Just astonishing. Talk about doing something that really matters, and all these animals enjoying their morning is the result 🦊🐾
I think I'm vicariously exhausted from seeing all the hard work you do. And I'm still wowed when I see those Fishers, they're just that little bit unique that make them so magical to me, especially as they aren't in the UK where I am, although I do often see some foxes in my garden.
Can we ALL appreciate SAF and the hard work they do, sleepless nights ,constant cleaning and feeding ❤❤❤❤but Done with Love for ANIMALS! Welcome in the Rescue reality! THIS PEOPLE are HEROES and VOLUNTEERS always needed in any RESCUE or SHELTERS ,FOSTERS, ADOPTERS ❤❤❤❤BABY FREYA IS PRECIOUS CUTIE ❤❤❤❤
Love it! Lots and Lots of work! I get up at 4am to walk into a giant machine shop. While many envy I know just how much work this is, not to mention the complete destruction of "normal" house! Keep up the Great Work! Love, Love, Love. Wouldn't the world be a better place?
I'm glad you guys are finally getting the recognition you deserve and have gained so many subs, but unfortunately with that comes the haters and the expert know-it-alls who seem to fill up the comments sections with their misinformed judgements and criticisms. Just remember there are so many who support you.
Loved getting to hear both mink and fisher voices and being shocked by the thought, "Look how low-key the ferrets are compared to the other animals." Never thought I would think that! 🤣
Thank you for your continued dedication and pure love of animals … u guys deserve a medal 🥇 for sure … sending u love and much admiration … to you guys … ur family … ur volunteers and everyone else who helps this happen …. 🙏♥️🧚♀️💝🐶🥰🐾💜 xxxxxxxx
I have the greatest admiration and respect to you guys for what you do. I wish I was a billionaire, I'd support you all the way. Foxes and jackals are my favorite animals, thank you for what you do for these beautiful animals 💖💗❤
I used to volunteer for animal rescues back when I was still in university. Used to. Between the rescue work, schoolwork, my own projects, and dealing with chronic illness, I couldn't keep it up. I could never do this kind of work every day of the week, for as long as you do.
I absolutely love this! I became paralyzed from my breasts down, or I would be opening a rescue shelter on my 18 acres. You guys obviously love these animals and they love you back 😊
This vid is one for the Ages. I totally LOVE this wonderful mix of good humans and precious animals, and one very tiny, lovely human. It's all sheer heaven to watch even tho I know you guys have so much work to do. I wish we had 50 gazillion more people in this world like you; what a wonderful world it would be! 💖💖🦊🦊🐾🐾
This is so inspiring. I’d love to start a rescue of my own at some point and beginning to put serious thought into what it would take. The land, love and time is here…
Today, I think I did a good deed. I saw a wild fox kit(6 weeks old) in my garden that had been seperated from it's mother. It couldn't jump the fence and was trying to ram it's face into the chain link(it was going to get stuck). I walked over to see if it would trust me to lift it over. It walked close, then jumped and walked off, no issue, just leave it, the mother will help it out. Turns out we have a big vicious ginger tom cat that likes to prowl around our garden that just happen to spot the kit, fun fact, cats will kill baby foxes. I only just barely managed to grab the poor fox as the cat was wiggling to pounce on it. I didn't know kits were so squirmy, but on the plus side, I didn't get bitten or peed on. And later that night I saw him running around with his mother. So it all worked out, but talk about stressful, did I mention I was in that garden playing with my dog at the time. -.-
You are amazing, wonderful people to work so hard every single day for these animals. This video was filmed and edited soooo perfectly and I enjoyed watching every minute of it. If I lived closer I would definitely be volunteering!
Huge respect to you folks for doing all this, and every day! That's a heck of a lot of work there. I really hope you're getting help...if only to ensure you're getting good sleep.
To the best " least" dysfunctional family l know!❤️ And this means every breathing one of you at Save a Fox. 👍🏻☺️ I absolutely loved this video! And, know we still only see a fraction of any day in your lives. So much hard life saving work for you all. You have given us comfort through your videos since the c year and still do. So much love, gratitude and, continued prayers for God's rich blessings to you all. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
I am full of admiration and respect for you, this is real passion and hard work and responsibility. I would love to see videos like this of your entire day.❤
