Talking about places to visit in Lusaka, seems like a lot of people don’t know that there’s a national park that was established in 2015 which is about 30 kilometers away from the Lusaka. If someone hasn’t got enough time to visit far flung areas but would love to view wild animals then the Lusaka National park is the place to visit. But it doesn’t offer everything that one would love to see as it only got herbivores, Zibras, Giraffe and the like. Doesn’t have carnivores - lions, leopard or hyena. Another place that is near and great to view a small range of herbivores is Chaminuka, there you’ll at least interact with elephants and take a boat cruise.

That was beautiful i enjoyed as well. Will Smith, Brian mcknight, Joe Thomas came to Zambia before covid. Brandy she was suppose to travel to Zambia unfortunately she didn't. Kneeling down when we greet elders( that's our cultural)other thing a dowry / bride's in zambia is called lobola. The groom is asked to pay money/ cow's before marriage. And during funeral women are required to wear chitenga/ a cloth made from material printed some have decorations during funeral/ burial and sleep at the funeral house. A kitchen party celebration begins with bride covered from head to toe in a chitenga while escorted by female relatives after that she sits down. She can only be uncovered by her groom. After that groom have to go. They sing, dance drink and eat. And they start to giving gifts to her household items from relatives, groom families brides families and friends. The bride will advice from her relatives, respect, behave etc. And we have to kneel down to our in laws always. Much love y'all ❤️ 😍

Nomads you are loving Zambia every minute. I have a feeling Zambia is your new home. Zambia, Namibia and South Africa should be the default countries for fresh AA/FBA visiting Africa in general for the first time. Experience AA/FBA that are attuned to Africa should go to West africa.

What is the difference between foundational black Americans and fresh African Americans?
@shadowpriest1937
@shadowpriest1937 2 года назад
@@dalisobanda5575 FBA are the original blacks that were in america when the continents North America and Africa were connected. Something caused the seperation of north america and Africa. African americans are the additonal slaves that were taken from africa centuries ago to work along with FBA to build America. So generally speaking, there were 2 blacks afterwards that help build up America. This is why when a African american does a ancestral lineage test, they are finding in their DNA that have african in them, then they go and reconnect back to Africa and Africans to be reunited with their lost past.

Using the left hand is considered disrespectful. Even if you are giving someone money don't use your left hand. I was scolded when I was younger and now it's been ingrained in me to always give money with my right hand. I will move the money to my right hand if I am holding something in my hand to give money to someone.

Enough of building Shopping centres in Lusaka which only support the growth of other countries whose products and services are sold in the malls. Zambia MUST now concentrate on putting up industries so can start producing our own local products and services. All the profit that is realized is externalized and ends up developing countries that produce what is sold in these shopping malls. A lot of our agricultural products end up getting wasted yet we continue importing products made from crops that we waste here!!

@@octoroogoonerguy2081 what exactly do you mean? HH is less than a year as president so no ways can an rational person expect him to achieve in 8 months what others failed to do in ten years. The only thing we can do is to suggest that he puts in place policies and system that will encourage citizens to get in production instead of just trading in imported goods and services. It’s just too early to judge the performance of HH especially looking at how much debt he inherited.

Lovely video & good that Ashley caught up with you. As for wearing hats, it’s ok to wear it but if you’re greeting an elderly person, it’s wise to remove it from your head while you greet the person & then put it back on your head. We actually need to educate the people to see the need to wear hearts especially when it’s hot. For greeting, always use the right hand unless if you’re greeting people of your same age or younger than you.

Girl don't know much about our culture. Yes, you shouldb't talk to elders with your cap on. Curtsy a little when greeting elders. Definitely don't enter somebody's house with your shoes on, unless the host says its okay. During shared meals, elders pick first and should be served first. When walking along a path, and it is narrow, elders or mothers with their child should be given way. Just that our culture is slowly eroding due to mass westernization. If you asked that qurstion to somebody a bit older and less exposed to Western culture, you would have gotten better information on culture and what is considered respect.
