I can’t get enough of your videos Ruth. They are food for my soul. One thing that I noticed was that you walk around a lot barefoot which is really healthy. Grounding has so many health benefits. Not sure if you know much about grounding, but if you go onto RU-vid and research grounding or earthing, you’ll soon learn that your doing your body good by walking on the dirt and on the land. But maybe you already know that. Another thing I noticed was your pantry when you opened it. Unlike most modern American pantries filled with pretty containers and packets of processed food, yours had everything needed, but nothing was prepackaged or store-bought, which I thought was amazing. I admire you as a mom, homemaker, and as a woman. You truly are a superwoman Ruth!
Ruthann, you remind me of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. She's so industrious, she watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
Kendrick's "yay, mom!" when you got his favorite cat out of the tree was so precious! And love seeing the kids so excited about the results of their work in their garden!
You are such an inspirational Mom. I can see that you care deeply about teaching your children the ways and values they must aspire to live. I pray they are all shielded from ungodly indoctrination so commonplace in today's schools. Peace & Love comes from the lifestyle you are teaching them. You are a rare and beautiful mom, and it's plain to see that your children respect and adore you. I Find Your Videos... SO REFRESHING TO WATCH!
The amount of work you accomplish in one day is amazing. I am just in awe of you. If I was 40 years younger, I would want to be you. Makes me sad I spent all those years in an office having a 'career' only to be retired and realizing that I have done nothing worth mentioning. So glad I found your channel, I enjoy watching so much. Job well done.
What a model of great parenting! "Yay! Mom!" (15.30, when she rescues Kendrick's favorite cat from the tree). This is way better than any reality TV, and uplifting, too!
Love how you tried your cheese and then each of the boys wanted a taste too!!! Super cute! I wish I had half your energy and skills!!!! God bless! 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦
If you put a piece of rubber shelf liner under your cutting board it won’t skid around on you. Also works great to open tight jar lids! You have a beautiful family.
I’ve recently discovered your fun and interesting channel..what a beautiful family you have and I admire your parenting skills and incredible energy. Your children are adorable and so helpful to you. You are doing such a great job at raising your children.. and all your endeavors, animals, I’m just blown away and quite nostalgic since I grew up in Minnesota on a farm so this takes me back there. I live in California and have for 55 years and raised 3 boys here in Southern California. I now have 3 grandchildren and my how the time has flown. Thank you for your wholesome channel and keep up the good work God has given you!👍✨✨💓💫
From the Mrs- I so enjoy watching a day in the life with the Zimmerman’s. Thank you for taking the time to videotape these! Precious family life on the homestead:)
What a beautiful homestead you have ... I absolutely love the way you have all the kids participating and helping with house chores...You really are teaching them to be independent individuals and carry on The traditions!!! God bless you all!!!
Love love that you’re kitchen gets a little messy as you’re working sometimes too! It’s real life ☺️ would love to see all the day in the life’s as the seasons change 😊😊
WHEW! I am exhausted and strangely invigorated at the same time. I want a piece of that cheese and some of that butter spread on a slice of homemade bread. Wonderful video, totally inspiring to all of us homemakers and everybody.
I came across your video few days ago you know I've seen a lot of women like all super moms but evidently they've never seen you I hope she'll accept this as a compliment from a 77 year-old I've never seen a lady with so much energy and you sure have raised your children it's special to me to see this since I lost my mom when I was 9 and then lost my dad also this is a family that I would love to have been part of our one like it's what I'm trying to say I just think you are so blessed and you're such an overwhelming joy to watch appreciate the way you treat y'all all your you look to me like you're a very sweet and kind loving mother I just wanted to tell you these things. The Lord Jesus sure is good
I just came across your lovely channel and it is great. I have been binge-watching your past videos. I especially love how your family all work together to make a home. Those kids will certainly grow up with common sense and the ability to live without relying on the government. Good work ethics, a father and mother, and a lot of love. That is what holds families together.
Could you do “a day in the life” for all seasons? I consider you a great mentor as I have learned so much from you. We are putting our kids in a local church private school next fall and I would LOVE to see how you run a typical school day.❤️❤️
Good Morning Ruth Ann, It seems like everyone is onboard with everyone that has the pleasure of watching your amazing channel! You are such an inspiration to me and us all! I was watching a podcast with you and you talked about your children and a couple of boys that you adopted. I am so impressed by you and your Love of God and Family! I wish I had even a small bit of you in my messy home! I am a widow and disabled but I still have ambition! Nothing like you but trying to do the best I can at 62. Your home is so clean and organized and you have an amazing relationship with your children! I hope to have a homestead and a nice garden. I am recovering from surgery so wasn’t able to have a garden this year. My brother is two years older than me and he lives with me after his wife to be passed away 3 years ago. I took care of my mum when she ended up like so many of the 14 siblings and had Alzheimer’s disease. I was very Limited on being able to go anywhere due to her condition. She passed away Jan. 1st, 2022. That day was also my deceased Husbands birthday. It is still difficult to think about, my husband’s birthday and my mums death day. I don’t mean to bring you down but I know that they along with my dad are healthy and happy and living in Heaven with our Heavenly Father! I Hope and Pray that God will be with you and your amazing Family. Your children are the most Amazing children I’ve ever seen! This seems to be the Lords calling for you. I don’t see much of Elvin on here tho! It seems as though you and the children do everything and he comes home for dinner. I would like to hear about him and what he does during his day while you seem to be slaving away! I don’t mean to say anything bad about him cuz I don’t know anything about him. I do know that he has an Amazing Wife and Children and seems to have the world with you. GOD BLESS YOU ALL & keep on going! I wish I could afford to sponsre your channel, you sure do deserve it, but until God helps me get a raise on my disability, it’s all I can do to take care of myself and my wonderful Big Brother. I have total Respect for you. You are a Gift from God and we are all benefited by you and your lifestyle! And, your boys are adorable!
I understand he leaves for work early the kids drop his lunch off on their way to school and then the evening he does chores with his oldest son. That's the way i understand it im sure since he was raised like Ruthann he is a hard worker also just probably don't want to discuss where and what he does because they are some on here love to cause trouble. I love watching everything Ruth Ann uploads i don't think i have ever seen anyone work as much as her and have the patience she doesdhe is one fantastic lady. 😊
I’ll say it again…you have an absolutely beautiful home and farm. I love the large trees and fence by the driveway. I bet coming home into that driveway feels like a hug. 🌻 I had to come back to say I’m dizzy 😂. RuthAnn you’re like a well-oiled machine. You go go go from the moment you finish that coffee at the picnic table and only sit down for a quick lunch. It makes my head spin. I guess that’s what comes from doing things for years. You have so much knowledge to pass on. I enjoy everything about your videos.
Love your videos! What a busy day for all of you. I drink leftover coffee also. I didn't see you take a break at all. It is great to see how well your kids jump in with their chores. What I love most is your sweet smile and happy attitude in the midst of constant work.
Harrison is a spitting image of Ruthann and her shadow, such a sweetheart ~ Kendrick seems to want to be the leader of the pack, love his spunk~ Maxwell seems much more independent and cool as a cucumber, a natural leader. Hadessa seems to be a mama hen but also so great with the animals. She seems to appreciate her book reading time~yet learning so much from Ruthann! Mitchell seems to be a very hard worker and knows how to get things done. What a great role model for the younger boys and what a gift to have that extra muscle around when needed! Love this channel from a former South Dakotan living in Az. Missing my midwestern life but truly enjoy watching the Zimmerman family. Ruthann, you are an inspiration to women!
I am retired (73) and it is just my husband and myself at home now. We have a little country home at the edge of a tiny town and have a number of raised garden beds (6' down is straight hard clay), a yard full of flowering shrubs, a few grapes, and 10 chickens! We have been trying to wean ourselves away from buying processed foods and often I find myself thinking from scratch is just too much work. However, after watching this video and the number of things you do in just one day, I realize that it is worth the effort and I can do it! So, I pull up your videos and work along side you and before I know it, I have accomplished a lot and gotten a good meal planned for dinner. Thank you so much for the time you spend creating these videos. They are worth every minute to all of us who are so inspired by your energy, patience, and kindness! It's back to fixing dinner (from scratch) and then I can get back to making my apron!!!
Your ability to multitask makes me both envious and impressed. What a busy life you lead. Just like my mom, when you have a big family everyone needs to help. When I was a kid I didn't even realize that this wasn't the norm.
You and the kiddos operate like a well oiled machine. Love, lots of patience, high expectations and appreciation for a job done well is I bet how your children are being raised. Keep up the good work. I have heard several canners mention only bringing water up to the shoulders of the jars being canned. Yours is the first time I have actually seen it done. Do you have much siphoning with this method? Any problems with seals?
With all the activity you and your family do every day, you must sleep well because I’m worn out just watching your videos!! ❤ what a wonderful family, blessings to you all and thank you for sharing!! What a delight to find your videos and to subscribe!!
Hello from NW Montana- just discovered your channel and I am loving it. I'm retired but still gardening, canning, and love videos about farm life. You have a beautiful family- God bless!
Such a beautiful place you have created for your family, you sure do have a full busy day I wish I had half your energy and patience to do all you do!!
You are an ama,ing mother, partner and human being. I love watching what you and your family do. My grandchildren love watching too and learn a lot from watching 😊 what your children do.
Your garden looks lush. I am retired and trying to grow cucumbers this year. You have a great amount of energy. I worked long hours and never had that level of energy. 😊Blessings on your family and friends. Thanks
Our girls used to love playing school! Our kindergartner was the teacher and the 3 year old learned to read and write that way. She started kindergarten at age 4 and after 10 years in government schools. She finished at home in 8 months!
@@Ruthannzimm she started high school with 4.1Gpa. She took all advanced classes. When school went remote and she had no help from teachers and we couldn't help her, we hired a tutor. Once she completed her advanced classes in 2020, she needed very few credits to graduate by state standards. We started homeschool and her whole personality changed! She truly excelled and became a better person. She has also worked the past 11 months at the warehouse her father manages and saved up for her very first car! We couldn't be prouder!
My brother and I had chores at home as well. My mom had to work outside the home sometimes and she always told us a family is like a team and all team members contribute to keeping the home running. Great life skills and memories are being formed.
Refreshing to see the kids helping & not hooked up to devices! They are a well oiled machine, work together as a family! Very respectful children, well loved family!
I just love your farm.Lived on one years ago until my husband passed and kept been cows 8 years after that with the help of my grandson. Still miss the cows. I think they get into your blood.
You and your family are So very Blessed! Thank you so much for your channel... reminds me of when all my 6 children were growing and nearly everything was homemade... I still keep the basics but now it's only us 2 and sometimes my adult children and granddaughters
I love this video. It’s a lot more fun doing chores with someone than by yourself. The children seem to enjoy everything they do. RuthAnn, you’re an amazing woman.
Helpful hint: if you get the knobby rubber kind of drawer/ shelf liner and place a piece under your cutting board, it keeps the board from sliding around when you are cutting.
I love your variety of chickens. My Dad liked the show chickens his tax preparer raised. He'd most always come home with some eggs to stick under our broody hen. So we would suddenly see these odd looking chicks. Broody raised them all like she'd laid them herself! I've seen her ride the dog who got too nosey...lol.😊
It’s cute to see the Little’s stumbling (sleepy/groggy) through chores and morning routine. And you and the older kids being efficient and quick. Such a great lesson for the Little’s (life skills)
