Check out my first ever merch!! e30joel.com/ I got my first angry customer while doing doordash in my turbo m50 e30. I was extremely spooked but I got through it! Business Email: imjoelco@gmail.com Hot Bag: amzn.to/3gw55RY
Bro please don’t use Metal utensils on a nonstick cookware it can severely messed up your hormones and the nonstick coating can get in your body and it is considered a forever chemicals I would highly switch to stainless steel or cast iron or even enamel steel or 100% ceramic cookware
who did the frontend of the site? It's beautiful. I'll definitely be buying some merch later this month. You literally have my dream E30, black coupe, M80 w/ a turbo.
I treat all my doordash drivers with respect and give them a nice tip. Much respect to all the delivery drivers who do this for a living! 😎 Keep that grind going! 💪
@@marvin2678 Tbh not really. Once you factory in fuel, tires and general maintenance it aint worth it without a $20+ tip. Not to mention you're racking up miles on your personal vehicle that you can't get back.. However if you're looking for some quick scratch outside of your fulltime job, then go for it. I quit just cause it isnt worth wearing out your personal vehicles, youll never recoup that cost...
Don't stop making these bro, this format is pretty unique, really entertaining, and this series will get you viral soon. Last guy was just drunk af, weird. and a huge L, i would've just ditched the food at the front door and took a pic bruh
Joel--- after years of doing doordash full time and nearly 11k deliveries, I have had my fair share of crazy customers. I literally had a guy come to the door waving a g*n in his hand saying "Are you the delivery driver? Then I guess you don't gotta worry about this!" and another time, I had a guy come around from the side of the house waving a machete at me because he thought I was trying to break into his house and did not realize his roommate had ordered food. All that is to say--- be careful, brother! I'm glad you were able to get that situation handled and I look forward to the next upload.
One time I was delivering panda express to an apartment unit and right when I pull up one of the neighbors yells "what the fuck you doing on my property I got a gun" I was like.. delivering food, his friend tells me to ignore him and asked who I'm delivering to so he can help me, I tell him the name and he starts going off "oh fuck that guy I'm not helping you he's a heroin addict who's probably nodding off in his apartment, he broke into my apartment and stole all my food right before thanksgiving".. Lmao so I click customer not available and wait for the timer and then give the panda express to the guy who said the customer stole his food before thanksgiving and then I dipped 😂 Just recently I delivered 2 burritos to some lady, leave at door order, she walks out as I'm walking away and she starts trying to hand me something (I assumed a tip), she hands me her ID and I'm like uhhh I don't need that, she says what? Do I look that old?? I just say no and walk away, think she was drunk but a very awkward interaction
4:21 that was mad!!! Sick build. PS. Don't use metal utensils on your non stick cookware. The coating on the pan is mostly made of PFOAs which are the worst shit for your body when they start coming off (like in the pan you were using). That shit is super toxic. Love your videos bro
Non-stick pans have problems with the coating breaking down at high heat yeah, i find it better to have either cast iron or aluminium pan, seasoned of course so that it is non stick
Damn that thing sounds so nice, I like that you actually take into account what's in the order before doing pulls. There's a lotta youtubers that go over the top with it but you're just driving within your limits while still looking and sounding great, I like how calm and casual you are with it too. I wish my DD and UE market was like yours, I'd hardly be able to cover a full tank of 93 while doing pulls and delivering in my area.
this fella is criminally underrated edit: the fact that this fella was refusing to tell you where he was until the very end just shows that he was letting his temper get to him
@@Stratos1988if you have no martial arts background and are as small as he is then I wouldnt recommend starting fights lmao "mechanics hands" are not doing much if you cant fight and cant take a punch and dont have a big size advantage
I love this, i felt like i was almost in a video game, delivering orders, i beg that you keep making these, i would love to see more They really help me go through my difficult depressing times
As someone that has done a lot of doordash too, I would have given up on that customer after they called me a lazy fuck and just called support to cancel lol
You dont have to put yourself in danger like that. You already arrived at the location. Either he wants his food or not. I would have waited out front and said "i cant find you, you have 15 minutes or else im gonna cancel". Customers satisfaction is important but so is your safety. Stay safe bro.
He fell for all the little tricks that criminals use to goad victims into an ambush. "Just do this and then just do this and then we will meet" dangling the carrot a little at a time until he ends up at a place or scenario where he wouldnt have put himself in the 1st place. Trust your gut in scenarios like this your life is not worth the 11 bucks or whatever. He got lucky the guy was not a mugger/scammer/serial killer (this time) and just your run of the mill low IQ aggressive idiot. And frankly if I was delivery for long id seriously consider applying for a CCW license.
@@sergeantbigmac quit fear mongering how are they lucky.most likely wasnt a serial killer or mugger your dumb asf being lucky is when u avoid something that is likely to happen
Damn man thats the kind of the stuff i deal with every now and then. I drive my s14.5 doing uber and doordash and its issues with customers and an insane amount of road ragers that have led me to just doing night time deliveries 😔
that sound is absolutely awesome! i love the e30 so much. reminds me of my dads old alfa 155, that only had 280bhp but this video really brings back the memories of the acceleration and the sound. its impossible not to smile hearing that
This seems like a super fun gig for someone who loves to drive. I used to deliver for Jimmy Johns on my bike because I loved to ride. One of my favorite jobs I ever had.
Jimmy Johns is sooo good, I wish it was in Canada. I lived in Williams Oregon for 6 months and whenever I went to Grants Pass Oregon I picked up Jimmy Johns, best sub/hoagie I’ve ever had from a large chain.
You literally got me to doordash/ubereats earlier this year. The e30 def still looks and sounds great. And that dude was on drugs. I would’ve ate his food and canceled. Lol you’re a much better person than me.
@@garagemonkey526 Lol yeah there’s no way I would’ve made it to that point with him. As soon as he said “meet me out my back” instead of just coming to the door, I would’ve canceled and left. I don’t play games with stupid ppl.
Your car is nuts dude 🎉 Perfection is an understatement. As a delivery driver, I'd love to use a car such as yours to do the deliveries. Looks like too much fun 😂 The tips provably cover the gas
Bro, don't ever let no man put fear in your heart.... seriously just don't. I made it to 41 and i dash as well, im telling you to not let a man put any fear in your heart ever again.
ayeee another modified car doing deliveries. Just came across your channel. My favorite part of the day is peoples compliments to my car and just driving a fun car. I think deliveries would be boring as hell in a normal car haha. Going to watch the rest of your videos!
I used to do deliveries in my modified (lifted) Chevy Suburban sitting on big tires getting a whole 8 miles per gallon. I delivered to a rich lady in a huge mansion one time, and parked right next to her Suburban, and it looked like a Blazer sitting next to my truck. She couldn't stop talking about mine because of how big it looked sitting next to hers.
You even got a thermal bag to keep the food nice and hot, that's good lookin out right there, idk how many times I got cold ass food and microwaving it just kills it.
Been waiting for the new vid bro!! The past couple of vids have defo made me get my bum ass up and work on my car LMAO your vids have really inspired me to be more confident in messing up and learning from those mistakes. I used to be scared to do anything to my car from the fear of messing up
@@folst.3331 I couldn't afford the sport cars they had at the junkyard but they offered a 2018 Hyundai Elantra SE for 500 I took it spent 4,000 total to get it up and running majority of that money was buying a new engine the rest was suspension work it was a salvage title
@@vintagealgol7130 I personally bought a z3 2.8 that was in a junkyard flooded engine flooded transmission I was able to make it run and recently just had an accident with it so now is turbo TIME
dude, let me be HONEST! POST MORE OF THESSSEEE BRRROOOO!! watching this and listening to the cars turbo and sound almost NONSTOP is HEAVEN TO MY EARSSSS❤❤❤
yo i love the vlog style beginning with you showing us breakfast lol. I love the car but tbh i watch your vids equally as much for your personality. :)
Much respect to driving manual with food delivery. I've thought about doing it with my Si, but opted to just use my 7th gen auto cause the crazy pot holes where I work & Si is lowered ;)
just a little trick i learnt, when making french toast, Toast the bread a bit in your toaster and you will notice the difference when cooking it and eating it.
I don't know how I stumbled across this video. But at 5:00 I see why I was supposed to. Turn that Jon Secada up, that was my song when I was a kid. ❤❤ "Just another Day"
Jeez man, that was wild. Dude was definitely drunk. I mean making an out of state order, the incoherent rambling, and the pedo joke to top it all off, no way the dude wasn't hammered. Glad you didn't have to meet this guy in person, great video!
bro when you limiter bashed it for the dude on the phone i lost it hahaha i would've done the same shit if my car was that loud. props to you for handling that sticky situation :)
Used to think it was so disrespectful to do both services at once and drive out of the way with someones order but now I see the hustle 🤣 I have un-karen'd on this one
i do pizza delivery. we try to take at least 2 orders per trip. getting 3 or 4 is even better. i try to drop off the oldest orders first but above all i am going to do it in a way that i don't have to do any backtracking/wasting miles so it doesn't always work out perfect. i've had to take up to 6 orders at once.....the first 5 were nice but the very last drop was not happy!
Black car problems haha, I have a black bronco I ceramic coated and I do the same thing you do when I walk up to it. It looks so clean!.. for a few days at least lmao.
That's a fun way to do a practical review of the car while driving around doing work. All the angry people seem to be reflecting on all the things they hate about themselves.
Dude that E30 is dope.... only thing it needs is either a Taifun headlight and grill conversion or, a phantom grill, plus some rear louvers and a small ducktail (I personally want a widebody with above, but the narrow is dope too, love those wheels, even though I'd personally go with some custom deep dish Alpina's, AC Schnitzer's, Hartage's, or some BBS RF's)
I clicked just cause of the E30, I've got an E30 S52 myself, but I watched the whole thing cause there's something about watching food delivery in the E30 that's a vibe.
@@joaquinberds Fr love Joel, he is my favorite RU-vidr, enough to where I even send him money every month 😂😂 but I know he puts the money in the videos so it’s worth jt
Watching him deal with support and watching them cancel the wrong order on him... that alone is to make me never ever ever want to deliver food using these services.
Until corps stop using these outsourced call centers its all going to be the same. They dont care, they hardly speak english, and there are no repercussions for them messing up. Its the same story with all of them. All the big corps are doing it because $5/hr in the philippines is the equivalent of like $40/hr here and they are happy to work for that.
Glad you got a nice bag for it now to keep your car safe and orders cold/warm. Hopefully you got in on the catering program from doordash but they rarely open it up for people those orders always hit though, someone on reddit said they contacted support and said they got an email for catering program but accidentally deleted it and got an agent to send a new one out to invite them to the program, worth a shot IMO from how many $20-30 tip orders I get who knows if the catering is in your market though but those orders definitely carry my pay and I'd be struggling without them ever since they brought out the 50% and 70% priority tiers. Customers frequently thank me for using a bag when it's a hand it to me or they catch me at the door dropping it off, not sure I've ever caught any extra tips come in after the order from it though lol. 21:29 whoa what the hell how did you get it to flash the thing around the like button lmfao nice. My first order of the day is usually a catering one, I get the order then go take a piss or smoke before I leave the house, only got time to do either or before that text comes in and not too long after that it sends another one saying it will be reassigned then takes it off your app if you aren't quick enough 😭I keep a handheld emulator in my car these days so I have something to do during downtime without completely draining my phone battery since I have definitely been having some downtime lately. What a waste of time that motel 6 order was, I would've been gone well before then talking to support and driving away reporting them instead so they can't keep tracking my location lol. Hate having to deal with support they waste as much time as possible every time without fail plus language barrier. 53:30 OH BABY you are on the catering program? I see a catering order came in. don't be scared to force close the app if it crashes I had to do that on an old phone like 300x a day it was so bad. Different situation compared to a site wide crash like in this video but just for future reference like when you accepted that one order and it disappeared off of your app then sent you a text saying to make sure to complete the delivery. EDIT also a shame that catering order got unassigned from you because the catering orders that pay at least $2/1 mile are 50% of the time hidden tip orders in my market so I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up being a $20/$30 order.
Bro... You need to not be so open with customers during delivery jobs. It's your life on the line every time. If you take it light ( your life) they will too (take your life) You put way too much into everything you do to have it taken by these demons. They know you're doing great things, so protect your neck.
It was incredibly stupid to park his car and wait while even giving himself away by multiple cases of telling the dude where he's parked *and* revving his car up to make himself even more noticeable. At that point in this video I expected someone walking up to him, face covered to smash his side window and treaten him to give his car up with his pocket money, phone and the food. He got extremely lucky here. Especially since he ain't open carrying.
I wouldn’t have even entertained him for more than a minute but you have good patience man. As long as you take it to the address they said to deliver it to then you should be fine. Let him and DoorDash figure out the rest 😂
