A Day on the Lake State Railway! 5/29/22 

On May 29, we ventured out to my home shortline railroad (the Lake State Railway) in hopes of catching a newly rebuilt EMD leading train Z127. While we were not able to catch this, the shortline treated us well with running extra local train Y102 down to Wixom and back along with the usual Z127. As such, we were able to catch a total of three movements at seven locations. Ironically, for the entire day we were in the area, not a single CN train passed on the Holly Subdivision, leaving the shortline busier than the class 1.
