Hope these were not made by trinity rail.....the man way covers for thousands of GATX cars were bought in china...full of pits and holes in the castings, and sent to a shop in east Texas that splashed water on them and signed off these were made in the USA.
Love railroading but I'm reluctant to work in the field as I am afraid that its like most things....its a lot less fun and magical when you HAVE to do it for work and jump in the trenches so I'll stay on the trackside as an admirer.
Noticed some camera shake towards the end of the video as each torpedo car passed. Was that ground vibration or heat radiating from them ? I'm sure the camera is on a tripod and for safety your aways away from it. Great clear photography .......nice video!
Don’t ya just love the brain dead inconsiderate assholes that walk out and stand in front of you when you’re shooting video!!?? I’d have walked up to him and given him a swift kick in the nuts for that!!

I added this video into one of my amtrak videos representing many amtraks including this. I screen recorded this because sadly i cannot actually railfan
